My older brother had the vintage figure, and I never knew what it was, it was just a monstrous blue thing that I could use to fight my Ninja Turtles and other toys so I remember playing with him for a long, long time and never having the knowledge that it was a MOTU character until I got into adulthood, so Webstor will always have a special place in my memories.

Neat story. I grew up in the 80s so I DEFINITELY knew who he was. Loved MOTU!!! Bought him with my paper route money

I almost bought him yesterday. In my hand and didn't do it. Same w Mosquitor the day before. He was gone yesterday. I wasn't selfish this Christmas. Still awesome to see in person. Merry Christmas everyone!

By far my favorite figure in the vintage MOTU line. I am so glad they kept the action feature on this guy. He's a great looking figure. For display, I just wrap the line around the backpack and drape the hook over the open hand with the extra.

I think Stinkor will get my Webstor gun. Dude needs more than a bad smell to fight He-man.

Thanx again Dan. Webstor was always one of my favourate figures. Specially cause as kids we use to take all our guys and vehicals outside under the trees and build our own universe. And Webstor worked so well in the trees.

I'm an 86 baby, had a relative hand me down all his masters toys but never really knew what they were. And I remember specifically webstor and that face, and asking my mom "is this the devil?" 🤣🤣🤣 so needless to say, hes my favorite character.

In my childhood, MOTU eventually became the story of Stratos and his epic battles with Webstor. They were my favorites by far.

The cool thing about the interchangeability in Origins line is that a spare Webstor figure can be a great opportunity to mix-and-match parts and make a Filmation Hordak or a Leo Skeletor.

Webstor has always been my favorite figure in vintage because his headsculpt always looked to me like the way the orcs looked in ralph bakshi's animated lord of the rings. I gave my origins webstor battle armor skeletor's shield because he deserves it

I didn't have this one back in the day, but I've always been intrigued by Webstor's design. Always thought there was potential for this villain.

Back in the 80s I didn't get to watch the cartoon much so I never actually saw Webstor on the show, but I had the toy and loved him so my kid brain assumed him the role of being one of the good guys assisting He-man. Weirdly to this day I don't see him as a villain. Also, shout out to the cardback artwork. I've been cutting those off each one I get and storing them because damn does origins have some killer artwork on display. Feels gross to just toss it, which is what I usually would do

I get that Origins is meant to copy the vintage look, but I really prefer Webstor's 200X and Classics appearance with the extra limbs. Without them he just doesn't really look like a spider to me.

My vintage Webstor's action feature didn't work at all. I guess the string was somehow stuck inside the backpack. Together with Stinkor's lack of bad smell, this was my biggest MOTU disappointment during my childhood

Hi there. I like your reviews and I just subscribed. Do you know, what kind of Paint is the best to paint these guys ? You know that the paintjob is sometimes bad and some places there is even no paint at all. Like Beastman´s or Man-At-Arms´ bracelets or Trap-Jaw´s eyebrows. I know of acrylic and these oil-colores, in german we call them "enamel". Do you know about that ? Did you know, the Trap-Jaw´s right shoulder-joint moves like the other side ? Not only rotate, you can actually lift the arm.Yeah, Trap-Jaw is a real cool figure !

Was gonna give this one a pass (beyond the first 8 plus Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw I'm really just randomly picking up odd figures, not a completionist at all), because all the picture material made him look way too bright, but once I had him in hand, I quickly fell in love all over again with what was probably my most played with figure in the vintage line as a kid. They're dropping the ball here and there with origins, but not this time.
