the best isekai story i've read till now My In Laws are obsessed with me like the art the plot the way they show the story the emotions seen through general body language is absolutely amazing also i am kind of a sucker for slow-burns so yeah its my favorite webtoon i really recommend it

The best representative of clothe hugging the body is the tight black tee (often double as fake turtle-neck). It's clearly a "I drew this character naked and added black to make it seem like they' wearing something" (sometimes they add a vest on top, but it's still there under it! 😅)

Show don't tell is such an important aspect of story telling but it gets ruined because unless everything is literally handpicked and told to the audience they are oblivious to what is happening for the nost part and this goes to show how little most people pay attention to a story while reading it.

yess the wonky art! You explained my feelings perfectly - i can never focus or enjoy a manhwa if I feel like it was rushed or done carelessly. The same thing with the ugly = bad. Its a classic and its so bad, that im actually happy when an attractive character turns out to be evil and not just a 2nd lead or whatever.

I totally get you on true beauty, it was interesting in the beginning but then the plot went everywhere and I ended up dropping it. I always say the manhwa is better whenever there's a live action but in true beauty's case according to me the kdrama was way better.

I agree with everything except the bullying. Especially since I've seen so many people being bullied who did not say a word even if someone actually came up to them to talk about it, some of them would say something, but they could also brush it off. It is because the bullying after that could get worse. Besides, it is a very relevant theme for asian mangas, manhwas or manhuas, since the bullying in those countries is no joke and could actually get violent af. Hell, I do not live in an asian country, but my sister is a nurse in a mental hospital for people under 18 and they had recently been brought a patient who is a victim of bullying and she was brought there by the advice of teachers at school when she was pushed to her limits and finally kicked her bully's ass after they were tormenting her for ages. The bully for some reason was not taken into the same place for violent behavior and abuse, she did not even get any punishment and instead was called the victim the entire time.

Something I liked about Sangwoo character design was how even though he was supposed to be this really handsome and popular guy, we could still see that there was something off with him from the very beginning, just for the way the author drew his eyes (the eyebrows and the bags under his eyes)

i love yoo is honestly the only webtoon ive ever read that i'd consider objectively a good story and it took a while to get there. And i think the hiatus's and declined popularity has actually maybe helped it in staying true to the author's (quimchee) vision. So yes, everyone read i love yoo.

I actually liked webtoon, like the concept of giving an opportunity to all the random artists that find this app to just start publishing their work to get some attention, and I found some really cool stuff that deserves recognition. But it's also clear that they promote mostly the stories with manga-like art, basic plotlines and overused tropes, so if i want to find something good I have to search in the depths of canvas artists.
