My advice, never try anything you saw in a movie. Most girls are not really impressed with someone who refers to himself as a "handsome dark haired stranger" and with good reason too.

I've had two friends that told me they were told by... whoever, perhaps their guardian angel.. that this was the one for them, the one they'd marry, when they first met. Both couples are still together, over 30 years later.

It’s. A. Movie. Jesus lord have mercy. The whole point of a movie is to entertain. You have to suspend your disbelief A LITTLE for this man. OBVIOUSLY this would NEVER happen EVER! God help me…. Do you ask a gazillion questions during a movie too? Are you one of THOSE guys? And NO it’s not a “pranks alright? Dude was depressed he lost his GF who had suddenly died recently. His buddy wouldn’t stop nagging him about dating. He asked this girl to marry him to spite his friend, but her life was so….dissatisfying she agreed. Then the rest of the movie is them bickering and fighting and actually falling in love. Okay?? F*n hell man

I know two couples that that happened to them. A voice said that is your one. Both couples are still together 30 years later. Me, it took me 10 years, but 27 years later, I can say we got it right.
