This was a great test for gauging interest in the series being free to watch here on KZfaq. Future episodes will be a single 20-minute video for each wedding. Much quicker, more information and interviews talking through the whole day. Thanks for watching so far!

Learnt a lot from these! I actually really enjoy the length and the unedited pace - it shows what it's really like in the moment of shooting without jazzing it up, we get to see your process and how you think about composing shots and your interactions with some people throughout the day. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but would love to see more in this long format without the bells and whistles, just raw - totally understand they much be tedious to edit and put together, especially with the actual shots in the corner, but I appreciate the effort and time for all this! And thanks for making it free too! You the man, Kraig.

I am very impressed with the amount of mutual respect both you and the photographer had for each other. That is very important. I have had a few photographers feel video is an after-thought and isn't as important. So, therefore, they can walk in front of my cameras at any point during the ceremony. Both photographers and videographers are basically trying to get the same shots, from the same angle. After all, there normally is just one perfect angle.

This is probably the MOST crucial part of the event. I applaud you for the amazing job you did, for shooting by yourself and thank you for letting us see this through a 3rd persons view. This was actually sooooooo helpful! Not only does it show how you shot this but the editing process as well and the different opportunities that one can take to get all these different angles an shots! I am in the process of polishing my craft and finding my own way to do these wonderful events and seeing the work another videographer is inspiring. I've gone to Ray Romans workshop and he also thought me a lot and guided me to follow my own way to do things and trained my eye to see things I never would have seen before. Although Ray is on a league of his own I find myself relating more to you and your work because I find a lot of similarities between us. Thank you for everything man please keep up the wonderful job!

Coming from the UK its great to see how an american wedding differs, there are of course similarities but also lots of differences, when the couple do the vows in the UK the congregation all stand up which usually renders the back of the room camera useless! haha Secondly it must be lovely to have the space you did in that room, in the UK with the weddings I shoot its usually a pokey room where they cram as many people in as possible and if I am up the front I am stuck there! I have especially found in the UK the priests or registrars definitely see photographers and videographers as a hinderence and usually ask us to stay in one spot during the ceremony.... from your videos and others I have watched USA weddings seem so much more relaxed in the UK everything is rush rush rush

Nice work! I would've oriented 2 of those wonderful cameras differently, on OTS shots of the bride and groom during the vows, although the back camera had a nice 3-shot of the vows. The camera on monopod could've also swung around and captured singles or clusters of people in the congregation, to show the bride and groom every person who was there, to break up any monotony and to punctuate any poignant or funny moment. Overall, clean, beautiful capture!

Awesome job. I like the creative shots you crafted for the rings, and characters, settings, and items. Well done. The ceremony was very nice too. The microphone was very clear and You represented great professionalism. The only thing that I would like to critique is that the backup camera position at the ceremony was not where I would place it. I don't know if you were using it as a backup or an additional camera. If it was additional then its fine. But if it was a back up I would place it where you were standing looking toward the back door capturing as people come up and use the second camera to grab all of the reaction shots of everyone. This way if your camera goes out you still get a shot with the second camera. You can always set it lower so people don't trip over it. But, since you have been doing this for a long time, i'm sure you know what you were doing and have developed your own method that works well for you. So great job. High Five.

Hi Kraig, I enjoy this BTS a lot and makes me think how calm you are when doing everything and how much time you take to get the shots I've often wondered, especially in the ceremony, how you get on the slider shots and don miss anything. It also makes me more confident with what I shoot. The only criticism about this I have, going forward would be the edit is so out of time with the shots that are coming up in the corner it is a bit distracting. and I would think it works better if it were more in time/ sync.

The a7S2 also has to bump up to 3200-6400. Just that there still won't be a lot of noise :) But also consider that the majority of his shots were taken with prime lens, where he can easily open up to f/2.

I have to learn to work as stressless as you. In fact, you had so much time to setup your cameras, I always have 5-15 minutes for each situation (preps, photo session, ceremony etc..). To be honest, if I wouldn't see your results, I would ask you, "what the hell are you actually doing?". F.e. I missed some close ups and more from the bride. This is a good example when you know excatly what you do and what you need to record. Thanks for the video, I've been waiting for it for a long time

Outstanding behind the scenes footage of you doing what you do. I have but 1 question: why would you shoot all the ceremony footage with the back of the bride to the camera? at 5:04 you said, "cool shots are only as good as the reaction shots your contrasting with." Kraig, how mindful are you of getting a pretty good balance of this? I think for me I'm so stuck on getting the awesome beautiful angle shots and when I edit it always seems off because I lack the reaction or responding shots? I'm sure that's apart of your style of storytelling too as well. Thanks! this video helped alot.
