We have such similar shit going on here in Germany at weddings with families who don't really like each other, especially if they are from different areas of the country and speak a different dialect...It's so similar as in this sketch, although I think that many Germans wouldn't even keep up the fake-friendly smalltalk just to be nice after a while, brutally direct & honest as we often are...lol xD Seriously though, we've had some pretty similar comedy skits here on German TV in the past.
