My fiance and I dont hide things from each other. He doesn't have social media, gave me all his passwords, we are engaged and he wears a ring (custom from his culture) and I can see if I want anything from phone history. I think what's important is to have same values and be open with each other. And I completely agree that relationship with Christ is what is most important.

I'd also say that spouses don't just act vulnerable when their needs aren't being met, but also when their - often unrealistic - wants aren't being met. And sadly, when some women / men are in bars and on the prowl, they're often looking for people WITH wedding rings - and wives - so there's no commitments - just a moment of lust fulfilled that everyone pays for after. Breaks my heart. Nevertheless - wear those rings LIKE YOU MEAN IT!!!! And if you dont wear a wedding ring , act like your spouse is with you when you go out. I firmly believe Believers have no business being in bars and lounges in the first place cause no good comes of it, but married Believers should NEVER be there without their spouses. Once alcohol is involved, inhibitions are lowered, and devastation happens.

My husband kept his wedding ring on while he was sleeping with the other woman. He didn't take it off until he moved in with her. It only meant something when he moved in with her. She didn't like the ring after he moved in with her. She didn't mind him wearing it during the secrecy but only when the affair was out did she have a problem with it. She says her name in Jezabel.

And in TOTAL agreement with letting your spouse have access to your phone, computer, history, passwords... particularly if that trust was previously broken. Sadly, when confronted some aren't remorseful they did wrong, but are remorseful they were caught - so they learn new ways to be devious by finding new methods of deleting , hiding , and covering up sin. Pray hard and continuously for their conviction, and for them to be repulsed by sin and lies. It can take years, but I believe God can give them the victory!

This message really spoke to me. The Lord spoke to me on a hiking trail several weeks ago and asked me a Bible question...Can a leopard change it's spots...my answer to the Lord was no a leopard can't change it's spots but you Lord can change the leopard into a new creature. Still on the trail the Lord said "there is going to be a Revival in Marriage and a Revival of Marriage. My former husband is a Pastor and I am an Ordained female minister won of the last things he said to me was...there is no reason you can't come back but you will just leave again because nothing is going to change. To go back there had to be change all closed windows had to opened. Still believing God can restore or God can redeem....Lord, I give you permission to accomplish your will in my life....prepare me for restoration or reception!

This has helped me greatly. We will be getting married July 12th. This will be my second marriage, his first. Our struggles have been great but as soon as we pray together, we come together. This, I know, will be a long lasting help. Thank you Pastors Jimmy & Karen.
