A highlight of Ruth and Jason's vow renewal wedding on August 24th, 2022 in Long Beach, CA. This wedding has a special place in my heart because I was able to get a glimpse of what this couple had been through the past few years, with Ruth being a Metavivor and the recent loss of her sister, who was honored through the photo on her bouquet. Through it all, Ruth & Jason's love kept each other whole. I was honored to capture this vow renewal thanks to Wish Upon A Wedding.
Wish Upon a Wedding is a 501(c)3 non-profit that grants weddings and vow renewals to couples facing serious illness or life-altering health circumstances.
From the Bride, Ruth:
October is the month of Breast Cancer Awareness. This month, I urge everyone to please not ignore Stage 4 or Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients. The ribbon includes green, which represents the triumph of spring over winter and life over death. Teal symbolizes healing and spirituality. A thin pink overlay signifies that metastatic cancer started in the breast.
With that said, words aren’t enough to express my gratitude to Wish Upon a Wedding for granting a Metavivor like me a vow renewal wish. They found Sarah, the best wedding planner, who made my dream wedding into a reality. Sarah assembled the most wonderful vendors, to include one of the most amazing and genuine person I have ever met in my life, Nicole.
Nicole showed up on our wedding day without any guidance from any of us and was able to capture many highlights of our wedding. My husband and I can’t stop watching this video over and over again! Nicole did such an amazing job on the video that it takes us back to our wedding like it was just yesterday! NICOLE, we can’t thank you enough for capturing our precious moments, we would highly recommend you to everyone! We love you! 😍
