ive owned all of them, Oceania beat them all hands down especially since theres a pump kit for that now too. more accurate and takes anything you can put on an AR15

I think the price is reasonable these days given something like a tikka t3x is around $2k and a Warwick similarly configured would be over $4k. Not cheap but not AI money either.

Lucky that they are even allowing it, pump action shotguns are illegal.

A semi-auto centerfire rifle is considered category 4 in Australia and getting a category 4 licenses is near impossible to get, as it's reserved to only professional hunters.

Our politicians don't enact gun control legislation for safety, they do it in order to make the public think they're stopping us evil firearm owners from being able to do anything dangerous. All these laws do is force manufacturers to skirt laws. For example, I can go and buy a straight-pull 12G today, which has a thumb-operated release, essentially making it a semi-auto with extra steps. Same kind of deal here, even if it cannot be fired as quickly as a semi-auto. fyi, I'm not against Australia's barrier to entry for when it comes to GETTING a firearm, but the restrictions in place for those like myself who have already jumped through the countless hoops required are utterly stupid and serve no purpose other than to satiate the general public who take what the media tells them at face value and who are afraid of anything gun-shaped.

This simply isn't the case. Western Australia has no issue with pistol grips, it's just an overall appearance thing. Though this is no longer the case either, I was able to get an SCSA Taipan in WA with no problems.
