I actually really love Wednesday & Xavier's dynamic (the way she shades him in particular is peak humor). They kinda have a slowburn romance potential seeing as he didn't quickly grow on Wednesday like Enid & Eugene had despite him trying to be her friend (after getting rejected at the dance). Also even tho Xavier crushed on her quickly, he also seemingly stopped after he said "What's to like?" Both had trouble trusting each other at one point but their friendship kinda started blooming after she took that arrow for him. I'm curious how their friendship will grow from now on. And I still can picture a romance with them but way WAY further into the future, definitely not in season 2. The closest romance that could happen might be wenclair. But whether its wenclair/wavier endgame or wednesday solo coz she is above romance, I'll be happy with either of them AS LONG AS SHE DOES NOT GO BACK (FOR WHATEVER REASON) TO TYLER.

I 1000% agree with Percy the entire time during this interview. Literally everything he said was relatable from Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams)'s kiss with Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin) to his view on social media and followings. I personally liked Tyler at the beginning. I thought he was a sweet boy that would almost "soften" Wednesday up a bit and make her more social. Despite Enid Sinclair (her roommate and first best friend) trying her best, I felt like since she was the pinnacle of a social butterfly, it would be hard for the sudden change for Wednesday. This doesn't mean that they won't become closer throughout the years, however, in order to make friends or "soften up", she needed someone who embraced her "kookiness", accepted her for who she is, and flow with the constant punches (both verbally and physically) that knowing Wednesday comes with, and I thought Tyler at first was perfect for that. That all changed when Xavier gave his first warning to Wednesday about Tyler in Episode 2. I was at first suspicious about this because I trusted Xavier the moment he saved her from the gargoyle in Episode 1. Xavier, despite getting a "moody" personality wrap, clearly cares for her because not only did he save her life, but he also waited for her to wake up in the infirmary and told her about how they had known each other during childhood. In Episode 4, during the Rave'N dance, Xavier finally told Wednesday what Tyler, Lucas Walker, and the other cronies did to him. This honestly hurt me to find out that Tyler used to be an influence on these boys that had assaulted Wednesday twice, Eugene Ottinger once, and destroyed everyone's outfit at a very nice prom. I was always team Xavier, but this definitely changed my perspective on the show and Wednesday's two love interests. Tyler sort of came into the picture so randomly (even the actor Hunter Doohan agreed feeling like he was the random normie barista that wasn't a part of the cool scenes done with people with supernatural powers). He was super caring towards Wednesday and even confessed his feelings to her even with knowing her notorious record of disregarding his other ones from the past, but that didn't change the random addition he brought suddenly to Wednesday's life. With all of the suspicions pointed towards Xavier, I never once considered it to be him. He had a sincerity that I could tell he wanted Wednesday to believe so badly. Despite Wednesday being rude to everyone in the series, all the people who have watched the show know that Xavier is the person who got it the worst throughout the entire thing. He was willing to risk his life for Wednesday by saving her from a statue, following her into the woods, and shooting an arrow at a supernatural pilgrim (Joesph Crackstone) to try to save Wednesday. The time where I started to prefer Wednesday to not be in a romantic relationship with Tyler was when he asked her out on a date, but when she said no expectedly, Tyler said that Wednesday owed him for risking his life to do an investigation at a creepy, old house where the monster attacked them. It almost seemed like Tyler didn't give Wednesday the option, which I found weird especially for him giving off the vibes that he wouldn't push Wednesday too far out of her comfort zone and helped her whenever she asked for it. Dates are meant to be a choice between the couple with both of their consent to do it. During that date, he also picked a movie he knew she would hate, which was not exactly the best romantic move by Tyler. Lastly, when they finally kissed in Episode 7, and Wednesday knew Tyler was the Hyde (the monster), I thought that maybe a little part of her might've been hurt, especially since he nearly killed one of her only friends, Eugene. I thought that Wednesday kissing Tyler almost seemed out of line for her. I am not stereotyping Wednesday into a certain category that she cannot get out of, however, she seemed, like Percy said, above romance the entire time, and then within the span of one episode, she seemed fine with kissing him. With all that being said, as much as I would love Wednesday and Xavier to be together, I do not think it will happen and based on her reputation, I think that is probably for the best. A platonic relationship between the two would be awesome for Season 2 because I can see Xavier being the exact friend she needs. Enid is the friend that will get her to meet people and get involved with school activities, Eugene is the friend that they both share anti-social tendencies, Thing is the friend/family member that does and did everything he could for Wednesday, and Xavier is the guy that will be there for Wednesday whenever she needs him. Plus, these 4 friends have something in common that Tyler never had, they saved her life at least once. They thew themselves out there to save her life, and in the end, Wednesday learned a more powerful lesson that love, she learned that you should have trust in others because inevitably, she would've died multiple times had they not been there to save her. Plus, an added bonus would be if her and Bianca start becoming closer because they both have more in common than what meets the eye. I know this was a lot to read, but if you did read it, I would like to know your thoughts on Wednesday's relationships throughout the series, both platonic and romantic and see if we either agree or disagree.

And think how vengeful she is! And the fact she keeps her feelings inside after the death of her 🦂 shows she is pretty intense with her feelings. She is just less dovey, than her mother, herself being a raven. (Not to mention the fact that Wednesday and Xavier are 16yo, they have lots of time for romance). Give her time. I assume the boy who is an artist, like her, and gets her so well, and adores her, and likes to play with a knife... (like Gomez) will find a way to her black heart. After all ravens mate for life.
