Percy Hynes White, who played Wednesday's love interest Xavier Thorpe in season 1 of the Netflix series Wednesday, isn't coming back to reprise his role because of allegations against him in sexual violence on various social networks. Although he was never formally charged under the law, in order not to spoil the reputation of the show, he was removed from the list of actors of the season 2 of the Netflix series Wednesday.

Filming began on May 7, 2024. The process will take at least a year, so you shouldn’t expect a continuation of Wednesday before the spring of 2025.
