Weedpecker was born in Warsaw circa 2012, when the Dobry bros. (Wyro and Bandos) decided to match their dreamy psychedelic rock tunes with some stoner heavy grungy riffing…soon joined Pan Falon as drummer who plays also for ultraslow doomers Belzebong. After the summer of 2012 the lineup was completed with the Spanish bassist Jeso, who was earlier in some extreme acts like Looking For An Answer and Antigama. In April 2013 they recorded their first self titled album and since then they have been promoting it supporting bands like Elder, Naam or Mars Red Sky.
In 2014, Jeso was replaced by Mroku and the group began writing material for their second full length. The resulting album, "II", was recorded in February 2015 by Satanic Audio and released on the 30th of April 2015.

I've played this album at least 100 times and still can't get enough of it, plus I don't want to hear anything else because it doesn't measure up. Never been in a predicament like this before. Please do a new album guys!

This is some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard in any genre. The last song actually gets me watery eyed. If there's a stoner heaven, this is what they play!

I really like the way they progressed to this sound from the first record. The new album is even more out there (in the best way possible). I just started listening to this band and they are already one of my favorites. Their kinda a mix of all the things about this genre of music that I love. The Colour Haze clean guitar, the dreamy Dead Meadow vocals, the organic yet progressive feel of Elder, the sick heavy Sleepish riff trods, this band has it all. The second and third albums are amazing.

This album is amazing!! Every now & again I come across a GEM. Gem = an album that shreds in it's entirety, a perfect listen , not one " skipper" on here. MrStonebeliever- keep the music coming. I've seen this band's name and thought "OK, for sure this is going to be another cliché-d Bongzilla-Electric Wizard-and-therefore-Black Sabbath-thing". After seeing them live yesterday, I felt quite like an assholes for not given them a try before. I was pretty high tho.
