Because (spoilers) in the story, while you were on your way from your meeting with Anderson and Ingrid, Marian was giving the rest of the Counter squad trouble where Anis tells her that she can't wear her underwear outside. Also when you and the Counters meet up with the Pilgrims, Marian broke down into tears when she was told that she had to stay with the Pilgrims til you make it safe for her to be in the ark. Marian begged you not to kick her off the team, promising to behave herself such as no longer wearing her underwear outside
