Kevin Windham, down to earth family values, fan favourite, absolute legend on and off the bike. We still talk about his transfers as a side show in sx.

So happy to see Kevin Windam after so many years away from the spot light. Always a fun and classy racer.

Weege, I am 66 years young and began racing at 14. I watched my hero Roger Decoster as he raced in the pouring rain in Puyallup Washington, no fences in those days, just my muddy boot one inch from the track seeing Roger duck his head as a softball sized rock glanced over his visor and he calmly railed the turn and passed the offending opponent. What does this have to do with you? I’ve seen the decades of announcers going from gawdawful to better and better as corporate America began to take our sport seriously - to today’s world where we have Feld motor sports and Peacock taking our sport the attention it deserves. And the icing on the cake is you and your incredible commitment and coverage of the sport. Thanks so much for the Weege show and for your commentary during the races. Thanks for putting the level (top 42 in the country if not the world) of competition in perspective. Having made the show in 50+ (honored to line up with Brownie and Emig!) And having my son Ripper just outside the top group (they take 4 ....4!!!) At regionals a couple times it's good to hear. Collarbone blues this time, thanks for the updates.

The amount of money, time and effort is insane these days just getting qualified for LL. I couldn't afford just taking the week off of work. I can't imagine the expenses are at the end of the season 😮

Horse (Show) Jumping, at least at the child/teen level, can be hundreds of thousands to million dollar sport, with essentially little to no prize money, by comparison. I would say Horse Jumping (with Olympic aspirations) is closest comparison to MX/SX kids journey to Pro.

Kev still is the coolest

I see too much money in amateur racing imo. I tried to have my kid do some local races. He was competing against kids with 3 bikes, a mobile shop, and a backyard track. 2 teachers with 3 kids, we couldn't compete. Only time in my life a felt poor. Still, the Lawrence's made it.

Emig is there any black kids coming up through the amateur ranks?? Because you talk about the 5% 40 best riders

I thought Loretta was for amateur kids coming up not has been's trying to relive their youth and inflate their ego 🧐
