This is such a nostalgic song! Trace Cyrus (Miley's brother) met Mason Musso (brother of Miley's co-star Mitchel Musso) on the set of Hannah Montana and then they decided to make music together. Metro Station falls into that niche of late 2000s emo-adjacent groups like 3OH!3 and Cobra Starship whose songs had elements of pop punk, rap, and synth-driven production.

I really like this song but it’s the only song I know by them. I like Mason so much more than Trace who was just doing a Keanu Reeves impression.

Mason Musso is the brother of Mitchel Musso, who acted as Oliver Oken on Hannah Montana. Also, I think the show y'all were thinking of is America's Best Dance Crew.
