I think that in the part where it comes out as the Victorian era it refers to the fact that she is like a princess and deserves to be treated as such, that is what I understood in that part of the video

I think it was the theme song for an Amanda Bynes movie of the same name in 2003 as well. Another fun fact - it was the first #1 of the millenia. First #1 of the year 2000, a feat that won't be broken until the year 3000
