Hi Amelia my name is John and I'm currently a yr 12 student and am nearly graduated hs. If you're transferring to UTS, you can apply for "Recognition of Prior Learning". The faculty that is associated with your degree (e.g faculty of science for a bachelor of science), determines what subjects from your previous studies will be recognized, and thus will not have to complete again.

Hmmm...to be honest with you there's not much of a student life at UTS and most students just go to uni to do their work and then go home. Generally speaking, the domestic students are not really looking for friends at uni and hang out with their friends from high school. But UTS puts on alooooot of events for new students in the beginning of each semester so that's a good way to make friends. Also, join one of the 1000000 clubs and societies and meet friends that way! :) Glad you liked the video!

Yes they do provide you scholarship based on merit or i guess they have sport scholarship as well

Unfortunately, I don't know much about the engineering faculty as I don't know anyone that does engineering. However, I do know that there has been some drama around the UTS engineering faculty as they have lowered the entry requirements for female applicants which is a bit problematic. This could possibly effect the overall reputation of the engineering faculty at UTS. Other than that, UTS has great facilities and is located right in the center of the city which is very convenient! UTS housing is great if you want to socialize during your degree cause there is not much of a social life at the rest of the uni unfortunately. Hope that helped a little bit! :)

Hey Emilia. I’m going to UTS in July 2020 for bachelor of business degreee. R u still at UTS right now? I hope to open a channel for vlogging Uni life as well. How you be able to meet a lot of students to make new friends with in UTS while there’s so many of them ?
