HII welcome back to another video!💕 I'm Yvonne and I just finished up my fourth year majoring in film studies & minoring in creative writing at the University of British Columbia. Thought I'd document this week since it was the last week of classes! ─ so, come with me as I go on zoom class, work, study, finish up assignments, as well as go on runs around the vancouver campus :)

I’m just happy you are on the 12-year undergrad plan-our gain! You are quite the artsy and I doubt you would fit into the corporate world- which is a blessing. Your cinematography skills are really terrific-the music sets a really nice mood as well and you are such a positive person. Thanks Toronto girl.

HEYY! You make absolutely beautiful videos. Although I've only watched like one of them because I've JUST pounced upon these, I'm in LOVE:) I love your aesthetic so much. UBC is my DREAM UNI. I'll be applying there for sept'22 intake. I was wondering if there are any tips and maybe extracurricular stuff I should do to solidify my chances of getting in. I already have a few things up my sleeve but is there anything recruiters will be looking for? like something very specific? Oh, also I'm doing the IB so any grade I should be on the lookout for? Sorry for so many questions but hope you find this comment because I'm an A1 procrastinator and I would really love some tips to calm myself down. Thank you!

Heyy I love your videos💜I am actually going to second year this fall, but haven’t been to ubc because of covid .-. I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I would like to know about your opinion about a new residence buildings...called q̓əlɬaləməcən leləm̓ (Orca House) and qʷta:yθən leləm̓ (Sturgeon House). They are supposedly near walter gage and exchange. I was wondering, since they are new and newly opened on september, do you think its a great deal getting that offer?

Hii Elisa, thank you so much!!💕 I hope you get to visit campus soon! In regards to the new residences, I’m all for it!!! They’re building it right beside Exchange residence (where I live) so I’ve been seeing the entire construction progress hehe. It looks SUPER nice & I heard they’re putting a food place in it?! (Don’t quote me on this haha). If I had the chance, I would love to live at these - they’re also super close to the bus exchange, Student Centre, ikb Library, and parking so really great area :) hope that helps!!

Hey thanks so much!! Overall, I really enjoyed it - we learned about manga and anime techniques and also got to watch films like “Princess Mononoke”, “Ghost in the shell”, “metropolis”, etc. It wasn’t a challenging course at all, and rather more enjoyable!☺️ (if you’re in arts, this counts as a literature requirement too)

I’m working in marketing! There’s are a lot of options to work at ubc whether that’s on campus (cafes/restaurants), their work learn program (dedicated for students to work while in school) and there’s also events u can attend to connect with employers!☺️

Hii I was living on residence my first year, moved out with my friend second year, and was offered residence again so I moved back for my third and fourth year! Hope that helps 🤍
