For the vanity situation, have you tried changing the position of the bed . Instead of facing the window, have it face the dresser and see if you have enough side space for a small vanity.

yes! i was going to comment this - she had the bed like that when she first moved in but then she said she wanted to wake up to the nyc views (which i don’t blame her) but a desk/vanity would deff fit & look good if she repositioned her parallel to the window!

I was coming here to say the same thing. There is a whole wasted wall that could be used if you just turned your bed and put the vanity on the wall where the headboard is at.

Just chiming into to say I’m already feeling claustrophobic at the thought of a vanity in your bathroom haha. Vanity’s should feel bright and spacious. I have a dedicated makeup case that all my everyday makeup goes in, and then a tabletop mirror and I just bring that to my table whenever I do my makeup, and pack it away when I don’t need it. Works like a charm.

Brooke have you ever thought about moving your bed to the other blank wall? Would that work? Then put a vanity where your bed is right now? Maybe the space isn’t big enough for that but just an idea :-)

Vanity solution!!! Get a small, tall, secretary desk for the corner storage unit in your bedroom, and you can close up the desk but when you’re not doing you’re makeup. Storage ✅ vanity ✅ clutter free ✅

From one Brooke to another haha- The malm dressing table is narrow and long, it may slide over the radiator in the bedroom. I know it’s a pretty popular option (for good reason) you can slide a bench or stool underneath and it holds a lot. The glass is also great to prevent any staining and it looks decently modern. May also work in the bathroom depending on how long the wall is there?? Any sort of console table with a drawer like that would work. Id personally figure out something for in front of the bedroom window for best lighting 🤷🏻♀️🥰

For the vanity, you could get a long/thin console table - usually intended for hallways and such. It would fit over the radiator and not encroach too much on the bathroom floor space x

you could use that fold down table from your last apartment! that way you can fold it up if you want nut it’s still always there when you need it. there’s mounting tape you could use to put it in the bathroom so it’s still next to the roller drawer cart you keep all of your products in

lol a core dunkin memory for me is going to work at the car wash over summer break and stopping at dunkin for a large sweet tea lemonade with slow motion by trey songz playing and the worker telling me to turn it up 😂😂

For the vanity need, what if you put a hanging table top off your bedroom door. Or inside on of the closet door? Something similar to the table top you had in your other apartment. I know it won’t meet the need of storage for makeup, but that could continue to be stored in the bathroom.

to fit a vanity...maybe put your bed on the other wall so your feet are pointing towards the tv? and then next to the bed you could fit a vanity on the same wall? I think that could look really cute

For the vanity situation- you could get one of those table that fold up into the wall like you had in a previous apartment. It could tuck behind your bathroom storage and you could just roll it in front of the shower when you need to sit down.

Living in Alaska we are very loyal to our local coffee shops. It always taste a little bit stronger than chain coffee shops, there is maybe one drink from Starbucks I'll get & that's pretty much it.

For the vanity situation I think a clear acrylic console table would look super cute with maybe clear acrylic makeup storage containers on top. Then you can get a stool of some sort to to go underneath. The clear console will A. Allow it to look more spacious because it’s clear and B. The console part will allow for a more narrow table which = less clutter

Hey Brooke. I also love doing my makeup at a vanity. You can get smaller corner vanities or ones that have shelves over the mirror. Maybe check out those types of Vanities out.

Oh yes Brooke, you can also get an ottoman with storage as a chair for the vanity. I have one for mine in my small bedroom and I can store a bunch of hair tools in it.

In regards to having a vanity, could you get makeup storage on wheels that you can store in your bathroom and wheel out to the big mirror when you want to do your makeup and use the stool you have? So no extra room is being taken but you can sit and do your makeup? Not sure if that would be tedious though.

Put your laundry hampers in your walk in closet:) totally helps with the space not getting cluttered. Also please center your tv console with the tv in the living room it would elevate the space and make it look more staged

Maybe move your bar cart somewhere else & put a small vanity in its spot? OR idk how attached you are to your kitchen table but if you got rid of it you could put a vanity on that wall. personally when I lived in my apartment I always just ate on the couch even if I was with someone plus it'll be nice soon so you could eat outside at that table! just a thought haha

Why don't you buy a vanity that's the same height and design as your drawers under your TV in your bedroom, and if you move the drawers over, fit the vanity besides it (if they are similar height and vibe it will work and seem intentional) and then the drawers in your bathroom right now can be replaced with your hampers. It looks like there's room for the bathroom drawers to be put besides your book shelf if you push your book shelf closer to the door, and then you can put your totes/masks/hats, gloves/whatever in it as like an entry way drawer situation.

Late to the party, but maybe consider removing the towel holder in the bathroom and put a situation like in your last apartment with a pull down vanity? I personally wouldn’t want to move my bed to not be facing a view of NYC so perhaps the bathroom thang
