In this Building A House Episode we take you through what a normal week in our life looks like. We start out by getting in our Septic Tank, Picking up our front and interior doors, installing our front door, getting the duct work in for our HVAC, completing the stone on the front of our house, and getting in retaining walls. Could be the finest video of this home building series, the ups and the downs, and pretty darn common experiences in a week of the process. As much as your heart's must have jumped into your throats when those doors went over, it really turned out as good as it possibly could. Now if I wanna be nit picking that was a long wait for a 10 minute video, but I guess with the whole married thing on the horizon you have some things on your minds 😁Lisa your patience hanging in there for 7 years, you go girl...Happy New Year to you both, best wishes and I hope you have an amazing wedding day... see ya when we see ya... 👌

BKK, thank you so much, that means a ton to us! Hahah yes the doors falling was quite frightening but also made for a good story. We're just lucky the ending was a good one :) We have definitely learned the home building process and editing process takes up a majority of our time, so it just wasn't all doable with the wedding. But now we are home from our honeymoon and ready to attack this house with more videos. You will see us every other Sunday now! And ohh yes 7 years, patience is key :) Happy New Year to you, hope it's the best yet!!

congratulations I watched this whole series so far i found yall last night ill stick along until completion but if possible do you guys think you can make a video of how you financially prepared for this and the financial steps you took throughout the house building process like example: cash, loans or i even heard like a credit card method. I'm only 19 but I'm sure that I want to build a house eventually after completing college.

I know you guys didn’t have em there long but it’s not a good idea to lean doors against a wall for storage as it will warp them. I know this from experience!😩

Hi! Thanks for watching. We think it is more consistent to call him Jerry. Lisa will call him Dad, but for the videos we try to address him by his first name so people know who we are talking to.

Hey there! We are building the home ourselves so we don’t have the 25% builders fee most people have so we are able to get more room for less. We did save up for years and have a mortgage and working full time to afford the home!
