Painting the edges and the inside of the handles with the contrasting color was a stroke of genius. It sets off the details of the design so beautifully. The decorative design on the tray became so much clearer after you washed off the dust, and I’m so happy you kept it. This is a gorgeous and adorable little table, and you gave it many more years of service for the lucky owner. I’m glad your feline inspector and supervisor has approved the work.

An absolute masterpiece! I can remember my grandmother having this kind of table, and I never knew what it was called. This one went from a Tea table to a Tom table! 🙂😼👍

What a lovely serving table! You made a good example of how not every piece needs total sanding or stripping. The silver edge highlights made a huge difference. Another great restoration job. If you buy better quality brushes with softer longer bristles you will not get so many brush marks in the finished paint. The same with the silver edging; with a good quality brush the bristles stick together so they give a more defined line.

Милый столик, но стоит помнить о малярной ленте - она позволяет сделать рисунок аккуратнее. Особенно небрежно получилась белая окантовка :( И лак на лицевой стороне столешницы больше пострадал от процедуры выпрямления с паром, чем от времени. Можно было просто наклеить то укрепление без этих воздействий химикатов и горячим паром

"I've seen harder cardboard". 😄😜😄Was the Whole Thing Made out of MDF (Even the Legs)?? I'm Amazed how nice the 'Plate' was Restored. Now All You Need is a Wealthy Aristocrat to Have Tea! A Baron or a Countess Maybe. The Cat Didn't Seem to Care for it but He Drinks out of Bowl.😹😹
