In this video we show you some of the highlights of our weekend away in St Lucia and Cape Vidal.
We stayed at The Bridge Holiday Resort which is situated along the bank of the St Lucia Estuary. Late afternoon we could hear the hippos splashing and grunting which was amazing.
The temperature over the weekend was absolutely insane which forced us to go to the beach everyday! The iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a short drive away and is home to various wildlife animals as you will see in the video. If you are lucky enough you may catch the leopard and hyena.
Our favorite spots were Mission Rocks and Cape Vidal. Besides the warm water and phenomenal snorkeling conditions, this is truly a place where your soul can come to rest.
St Lucia is best known for hippos walking around at night so a night drive is a must when you visit.
