I mean, I feel like everyone says "SNL was last great when I was a young adult/in adolescence". For some people, SNL was last good in the early 2000's when you had Amy Poehler, Will Ferrel, Seth Meyers, and Tina Fey. For you, it was last good in the 90's, when Dana was on. I'm sure there are some folks who think it was only good back when Chevey Chase was on. And in 10 years, someone will post an identical comment on a Kate McKinnon sketch, talking about how she was one of the "last great SNL actors". And in 15 or 20 years, someone will say the same about whoever replaces Kate.
