This is the funniest damn thing I've seen on SNL in sooo long.

I think the reason Lorne Michaels keeps Pete on the show, is that he is relatable to the younger viewers who now watch it. I was a little kid and my parents would allow me to stay up and watch the original cast. Pete has mental health issues, allot of us do. I deal with PTSD every damn day. My 20+ years in the Marine Corps, the injuries, the death of team members, and the killing, stays with you. Pete lays it out there, in front of everyone, never blinks, he takes it. He's funny, talented, and he has my respect.

I know that Pete doesnt do impressions, hence you rarely see him in any of the SNL skits, but here's the thing--- Pete is naturally funny as himself. How about you let Pete be Pete and have segments of a show about Pete being funny and interesting. The more they push Pete off as a background character the less funny the show becomes.
