Oh yes I’ve made a video like that before.. if you search for kerry whelpdale how to meal plan you will find the video :) for salad, I actually find emptying the whole bag out at once.. then if I use half I keep the other half in a container in the fridge instead of the bag and that stops the sliminess.. that’s horrible when it goes like that! Xxx

Haha usually Chris would eat a whole rice packet to himself but because for this meal we are having burger, bun and corn on the cob, we will all only have a little bit of rice on the side :) xxx

I've questioned this before- sometimes it just doesn't really seem like what she is making is going to serve 2 adults and 2 children. They must have very small portions and snack later on. It never seems to add up to me. Same as only talking about her shopping at Iceland when she's putting out an Iceland ad. All tesco again today and time before that it was predominantly Waitrose products.

I am showing what I am going to feed my family and what I show, is what I make and it fills everyone up! I’m not lying about it or trying to make it look like we eat less!! for us to have 1 burger and bun, a corn on the cob (Chris and I have 2 as there are 6-8 in a pack) and some rice is more than enough for us.. Chris might have a snack later on but he would do that regardless of his mean size!!! Its almost a habit!!! I shop locally and for me, Tesco and Waitrose are both a 5minute drive from me. Iceland, Sainsburys, aldi etc are all 15+minutes drive from me which is why I don’t do my weekly shops there.. it’s not because I DONT shop in those supermarkets, they just aren’t as convenient for me. I’ve worked with Iceland for nearly 4 years now and 100% believe in their products and am always so happy and proud to work with them when they ask :) xxx

If and when we buy those treats we always just get them from our local news agents when the kids get some pocket money! but to be honest with you, it’s a weekend thing for the kids! We don’t drink juice (I think that’s mainly because my parents ya never gave it to us when we were younger so I never think to buy any!) and the kids only ever usually have crisps in lunchboxes which they don’t have now! So all in all when you point it out it does look like I’m quite mean but the kids don’t seem to mind! Hehe xxx
