Yes, we do, we call them garden gawkers as they drive by but that is why I don't have a fence for more privacy, I do love the share my garden.

So inspiring to see your beautiful gardens! We’re in zone 3b, Montana, so we’re far behind in planting than most all of my favorite gardening videos that I so enjoy watching. Today it’s snowing here in Butte, Montana. We moved my potted flowers up close to the house and covered them with blankets! Fingers crossed they survive! Thanks for your video today! ❤

Oh my! And I thought snow in May was bad. I think I would need a heated greenhouse if I lived in a spot like that or I would be a nut case. But I am sure it is beautiful there!

For family plant names, on a whim I looked up my sister's name Lona (pronounced LOH-nah). It brought up Lonas annua and the plus is my garden is a Monarch Way Station and it says butterflies like it. DEFINITELY went on my wish list.

Garden zone means nothing, it can be all kinds of terrain, weather and temperatures.

Beautiful looking natural garden, Its the bees knees. We had a storm three days ago and the four poor geranium rozannes we have in the flowerbeds folded like a cheap suit. I cut them back to the base and fingers crossed they should come back in five or six weeks for a late summer show.

Oh dear, they can flop if beaten down with rain. We rarely get rain in summer, very rarely.

Yes saw it at Schreiners but I also saw it at BRECK'S for a lower price but those of us in the know, well, we know Schreiners is #1 in Iris and the rhizome divisions they send you are HUGE!

Hello there dear flower patch lady, oh i am so amazed that you remember all the names of your gorgeous plants. I really enjoyed so much, i think here in uk ours have different names for some, the santa Barbara daisy (fleabane).Jupiter's beard (valerian) .and a few more. Pam im sure your santa Barbara daisy will spread, thats the one my dear friend bought me some time back, it loves popping up everywhere its so elegant isn't it?.they love stoney (rocky )ground or pots too.its grow s zll over my sister s garden drive and step s..its definitely another of my favourite s.😊i definitely need to watch again i want to comment on some and have forgotten their name s already 😅.your climbing s around the fence i really love, the dear little rose by the obelisk too.its growing wonderful with the small white roses,hmmm! That is what I have been told about fleabane but so far no spreading. But that can change in a heartbeat, and I will welcome it.

Had to come back and watch this video again it’s like going to Disneyland you can’t see everything in one trip. I love how you’re talking about your flowers and you casually walk by the fire hydrant and don’t even mention that. Oh my goodness that is one of my favorite things in your garden. Hey Pam, I have a question for you when you remove those little critters off your roses. What kind of bugs are those? Are they Japanese beetles or do you have something else up in the mountains? 🥰❤️👍Liz

They are Rose Weevils and have been rather pesky around here for the past 10 years. I have not had Japanese Beetles show up yet but I am sure they are on there way soon. Things like the fire hydrant don't even show up on my radar I am so focused on what is blooming, I guess I am just used to it and no longer see it. But there are a lot of things that I would rather not see too so begin focused on the good and ignoring the rest is what helps me not be crazy about the garden being perfect. That is the fastest way to suck the joy out of it, but I do know you already know that.

I wish I could tell you. That one was passed on to me by a friend and she did not know the name of it. It looks nearly black when it first opens up but when you get it next to my other dark one, Superstition, then it looks lighter. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Check your local nurseries first and if you can't find any that way then search online. I got this from a friend who had it run all over her property and her son had to remove it all with heavy equipment. I keep them in pots so I don't have that issue with them.

If it's too costly or too much trouble to bury rodent mesh along the perimeter of the gardens then maybe it would work to put mesh inside a planting hole for the tempting plants.

I have built my own gopher cages with 1/2 inch wire but it is so tedious. It may be the route I will have to take from here on out though.

@@FlowerPatchFarmhouse is there anything that repels gophers? I would get a terrier dog, a rat dog will fix those gophers

@@FlowerPatchFarmhouse What I looked up said the mesh had to be much smaller. A lot of work but maybe even could put the 24" underground barrier around just one bed and have all the tempting plants there. What a terrible nuisance to have to deal with.

@@FlowerPatchFarmhouse friend maybe this is something you could do like in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb before the Spring rush starts and get like a 50 cage jump start on the season....🤷‍♂️
