Something I learned recently, when your hair is gummy and sticky it means it’s overly moisturized. When it’s dry and brittle, it needs moisture. So when it’s overly moisturized it means you need a protein treatment to balance it back out!

I think it might be the black tea. Everytime I try the rinse it ends up really drying. I've found that applying it between shampoo and conditioner is ok. But even then I don't see any benefits.

My hair turned to garbage lately. I have to practice what I preach again. I’ve been dying my grays with chemical dyes because I wanted my hair a bit lighter. Like a level 4 from a 2. I’ve been using professional brands and only doing regrowth with a refresher on my lengths 2x a year. Henna and indigo will only give you so many colors and the lighter go I more orange it will look and orange hair is the last color I want for me. Now though my long hair is split and trashed and up to my bra with layers. I’m so unhappy. I knew my hair hated chemical dyes but I thought professional brands would not damage. Like they all say. Forgive me I have sinned. 😂😩. Plan D is back to henna/ indigo and a green or blue vegetable dye to tone. 🤞🏼

@d.ecension
@d.ecension 3 жыл бұрын
Both. Your hair type requires a lot of moisture, so giving it extra love will help with the frizz and dryness. Try to keep a balance with protein and moisture. Sometimes, using too much oil will do more harm than good (from experience).

Hello! Do you blow dry your hair? I’m still trying to figure out if it’s necessary for hair health or not.
@OrganicallyAnna
@OrganicallyAnna 2 жыл бұрын
I personally don't, it takes me too long and I try to avoid using heat as much as I can. Sometimes I will dry it on low heat if I really have to, but it's rare. I would say if anything, blow drying your roots might be helpful to prevent your scalp from being wet or damp for too long, so if you wash your hair before bed for example. This can prevent scalp issues and irritations due to the moisture for a prolonged period of time

@amelietorricelli896
@amelietorricelli896 3 жыл бұрын
@@Sargamdutta14 yes it should be breakage from split ends. This happens when your split ends ar far up your hair. You should start getting a trim of an inch (2 cm) every 3 months that way you cut the ruined part without losing lenght. When your hair is healty you can get trims every 6 months. Wish you luck with your hair journey 🤍 PS: i forgot to tell you, you definitely have to try the inversion method.

Try getting regular trims like every 3 months (when you will go back to healty hair a trim every 6 months is fine), wear lots and lots of protective hairstyles and do at least 1 hair mask every week. Plus the basics: no heat, no chemical treatments. Also apply everyday before going to sleep a serum or an oil to your ends and never go to sleep with your hair down. Really hope this can help, i had this problem too and this is how i solved it 💕

@haziqahlul7761
@haziqahlul7761 3 жыл бұрын
Usually dry or oily scalp recommended to shampoo only 1 a week or 2 per week (depending on your hair)….orrr my recommendation avocado hair mask is really great…where to buy it? Nah, just search at KZfaq how to it and buy the ingredients (if you’re willing to)….and you really need to learn about your hair porosity (how your hair absorb moisture wel…not well)…just a recommendation no need to rush to do it all…but it’s a choice❤️ good luck

Should I cut my hair on a full moon or by the farmers almanac?? To get it to grow faster ???

At the present time, there is no real evidence those things would produce growth. However, maintaining your length with trims and conditioning will allow you to retain the length of your healthy hair, have less breakage, and achieve long hair goals faster ❤ Other things that absolutely support hair growth are a sound diet, stress reduction, scalp massage and making sure hormones are balanced and normal.
