Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new weekly reset / around the house happenings! I was prepping for the week ahead! I cleaned out my car which was in desparate need of a cleaning, remember; judgement free zone over here. Everyone is in a different stage of life dealing with different circumstances and doing their best with what they have. this is my filthy car and I am sharing it to make other mamas with filthy cars feel less alone in their chaos. appreciate you ;-). haha I also did about 82 loads of laundry, and i meal planned for the week ahead with some succulent soup recipes I can't wait to try! I also did some cleaning and oh yes it was wentworth's birthday and he had his party the day before which was an awesome blast and everything he could have wanted... and yet we also took him out to eat lol it seems to be a tradition in our house to go out to eat on their birthdays so we do a lot of eating out in novemeber and december lol hope this gave you the motivation you need to get some stuff done around your house!!

Girl I MISS Florida winters. I moved to Sweden this summer and loved every second of it until we fully SKIPPED fall! By mid October we had snow and it hasn't stopped. Currently there is 1 to 1.5 feet of snow outside. You inspired me in your last video to make soup that I refer to as "everything but the kitchen sink" soup. It was delicious but I don't think I could recreate it as I chaos cook (no measurements) and just let my soul decide lol.

When our kids were young, as soon as we got home from anywhere, we had them look around their area, in the van, and take whatever doesn't belong, and put it in the trash, if it's trash, or the place the item normally "lives", inside the house! It takes practice and reminders, and "incentives" for two weeks of not forgetting, and I wasn't stuck cleaning the van! We also put cheap beach towels under their car seat, booster, or on the seat to sit on, to help preserve the seat leather or cloth! It works great!

While I was watching you clean out your car, I realized I was scrunching up my nose the whole time, but laughing hysterically. And when you said it would be like decorating a dumpster, I spewed coffee. You have absolutely no judgment or shame from this subscriber. Our school had a canned food drive as well. To make it more fun for the whole school , they lined the cans up on the gym floor creating a “ road” or “track” and the Principal and teachers competed in a race with remote control cars to the finish line. It was a riot and over 2 000 cans of food were collected and distributed to several food pantries! Win! Win!

Having children are the best of times, & the messiest of times♡ I remember how various things were mysteriously sticky. We had a tv w/a built-in vcr/dvd when my daughter was little, & she & best friend tried to put a poptart in the vcr slot! They were 4ish, & didn't say anything when it happened, so it was the kind of thing where I was cleaning, & then suddenly surprised by a very creative mess! What they were thinking 😂 I tried always to have a sense of humor, & understand that they're just kids, & no matter how often we teach them to remember their things, or ask for help cleaning a mess (vs hiding it), they're gonna make mistakes. I'd be more worried if they didn't! You're doing a great job:)

One of the best things I took to heart as a momma is GETMO (good enough to move on). Things do not need to be perfect, simply good enough to move on. Also, mom life hack. Keep small trash bags in the car and clean out the trash when filling your car up with gas. My car stays so much neater this way. Still doesn’t get cleaned often enough but the trash is cleaned out once a week.

Watched a video of vintage recipes yesterday and the lady made a cold raspberry “soup.” She absolutely loved it. Maybe y’all would like that sometime when it’s warm outside. She drank it in a little glass. Sounded yummy. Tell a restaurant when the food is raw! That’s awful!!

My almost two year old was super excited about the laundry shot. He said "Woohoo". OMG I so appreciate seeing your kids car seat being all crusty because I thought I was the only one lol. My car gets nastyyyyyyyy and it looks like a a park and a food pantry threw up in it more times than it looks clean. My first time getting food poisoning was because of Cracker Barrel on a youth group trip. It was not fun. That bon voyage at the end gave me a jump scare! LOL

This comment might be a little late,but as a K teacher and as a mom… I suggest you keep a box labeled “spirit days” and just dump things you have used for those special days at school. Our new to us truck is my current main vehicle, and it has plastic mats, trays really, that I can just take out and spray. I basically don't have to do anything else to make it look clean. It's awesome.

Happy birthday Wentworth!🎉. I completely understand back to back birthdays! Mine is January 2nd, one daughter's is January 27th. The next daughter is February 1st and my son is February 23rd! It was nice when they were younger because we could do all their parties at the same time. But yeah things changed as they got older! I can tell you why those strawberries are so good! They come from my hometown, Santa Maria, California! You should see the ones that we buy at the roadside stand! Some of them are like 3 inches around! Yummy!

My husband and I went to a restaurant here in our town and the first time was really good. We wanted to go back and I ordered the same sandwich I got before. This one had a long hair in it so I sent it back. They sent out another one with a dead fly in it. We said okay we won't eat here anymore. A few months later we went back for drinks with friends and I had a fly in mine. I think they are out to get me lol 😅 needless to say we haven't been back.

My husband and I love going to garage sales and last week we found 10 boxes of those exact liquid IVs for $2 each. We bought them all!!! They are my favorite. I love drinking them since I'm nursing and it keeps hydrated and regular 😅 I have like a years supply of liquid IV now for $20

👵💜 hi Wentworth and Happy Birthday! I think if someone was sitting in the donut shop eating 76 munchkins people would notice more than those drinking the equivalent sugar. Ha ha I have made baked ziti, meatloaf and split pea soup during these cool days in Boca Raton. When my children were little, I did good to get the house decorated. Some people had reindeer antlers or a tree in their front grill. Rudolph noses were put somewhere, I don't remember where.I cleaned my car if I knew there was a possibility my first husband would be driving it. One reason he was first.Ha ha I hate all parking lots in FL.👵💜🎄🎄🎅🎁

For our kid's birthday we always combine their parties so it is never on their actual birthday. The day of their actual birthday they get to pick what's for dinner and a movie. Their choice. May be lame but it has worked wonders for us so far.

I'm homeschooling our three elementary school kids. The mental load that's lifted with not doing the things with school is crazy! It's constant and I'm always forgetting (and on top of struggles with school for one of my kids). I knew it would be better for my mental health, but I didn't realize how much!

Every time I spend $$ on brand name water/coffee cups, I find the same ones for a dollar later at the thrift store. We have a quick service place here in Michigan called "Souper Cafe" and they have 12 different soups to choose from. It is absolutely my favorite! Everyone can have their fav in one stop! BTW - it's 36 degrees here this morning. 🙂

Activated charcoal is good to have around for tummy troubles. If you think you might get food poisoning then you can take some to stave it off. It won't hurt you to take it that way. I always make sure I have dome in the house. It is a life saver.

i Worked at CB for 15 years, I was a waitress, a backup cook (like i cooked all the long term stuff, biscuits, meatloaf, hash brown casserole, fried apples, mac and cheese etc. roast beef, gravy, soups, stews, etc. For the meatloaf, ask them to grill it on the girll for it will be a little crispy but it will be warm and ensure it's well done. Also, there is ketchup inside the meatloaf so it has a pinky red tint. much like their pork breakfast sausage, the way it is smoked makes it pink and I love their breakfast sausage SO much.

Nice impression of us waiting to see the washer spin, lol. These are my favorite videos of yours. Wolfgang’s love for your arms reminds me of my youngest. It overwhelmed me in the thick of it but I do think back on all the cuddles. For birthdays we do a friend party and on their actual day I make their favorite meals for the day and decorate the dining room. I can relate with the family car situation. My husbands car we take to go out but my car is the family errand car and it is such a mess. I gifted my husband a membership to a car wash and I started taking one weekly before I get groceries. The car wash supplies the cloths, sprays, and vacuum so I literally only have to carry in any bags of random stuff when we bring in the groceries. So bundling the task with grocery errands has greatly cut down on the mess.
