The Panda Wanderer gives me strong WoW Mists of Pandaria cinematic vibes, which makes sense given their Orc offerings And we all know that any anthropomorphic animal cartoons that purpotedly came after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Biker Mice, Street Sharks, Cowboys) were just part of a mass hallucination. The only one that we know demonstrably happened was Bucky O'Hare

I hadn’t looked up any toy related videos since January due to dealing with some family issues and the passing of my cat, and got so sad seeing the Fwoosh hadn’t posted in 5 months. That is until I realized Robo started his own channel, and I’m so happy to see my favorite toy reviewer/announcer thriving on his own terms. The Panda figure is Chen Stormstout from World of Warcraft's Mists of Pandaria expansion from years ago. Google that and you'll see him right on the game box art, even with the chip out of his hat to look through all one-eyed and badass like. Freaking awesome looking figure, probably going to have to get one of those for myself.

This week I got: Marvel Legends X-Men 97 Magneto Marvel Legends X-Men 97 Magneto Spartan Collection Master Chief with Plasma Gun Marvel Legends X-Men 97 Cyclops Black Series The Mandalorian Glavis Ringworld These figures are all super amazing. I am very happy to add them to my collection. Those X-Men 97 wave figures are superb in every way. I love that I can make Magneto unmasked and everything since I love his unmasked look compared to the helmeted version we ended up with. Magneto the 🐐.

Mafex Rogue has me so excited! Feels long overdue! Love the shiny green, it's always felt weird to me when it's been shown to be flat in art and figures. With this, I'll have all I need of the Jim Lee designs. Probably. Hopefully.

I met you in person when you came to the Fan X in Salt Lake City, Utah some years ago. I was absolutely fanboying over meeting you. I did not care about any of the actors, artists, or other famous people that attended that year nearly as much as I was excited to meet you and chat with you about toys. I fanboyed so much that I returned the next day to chat with you. I mean, Shartimus was there and I was like "oh, yeah... Shartimus. BUT LET'S GO TALK TO ROBO!!!" We are glad you're doing this, and your energy is inspirational, man. You're a good dude. I hope you never stop loving this! I agree with your review of the 2nd Mezco TMNT... But, man. I have to say the first Mezco TMNT, are superior for the $400. And really, they are the best TMNT figures I have ever seen. The cloth goods alone push the set over the edge. I'm surprised you skipped out on them.

The Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa was a very fun show as I recall. I believe it was a creation of Ryan Brown who came out of Mirage Studios, and worked extensively on Archie TMNT. There would be some pretty fun TMNT/Moo Mesa crossover comic stories in the 2000s Tales of the TMNT series. So I generally concider The Wild West C.O.W Boys of Moo Mesa to be TMNT adjacent. More so than most of the anthropomorphic action cartoons of the 90s.

Great call in the lack of a Donny serious expression. Main reason I’ve stuck with NECA for my TMNT collection is I’m too far in; I begrudgingly skipped the previous Mezco set (with a bit of FOMO), but this set was easier to skip on Donny alone.

@@RoboDontKnowI think you DO remember the game because that's where the star projectiles are from... In any case, these characters were designed by the TMNT artist who created Leatherhead, Wingnut, Screwloose, Mondo Gecko, and probably a dozen others. (Ryan Brown started work on TMNT in 1985 as the inker and basically worked for them continuously while doing his own stuff, which is why Moo Mesa crossed over with the 2003 TMNT cartoon briefly and with the Mirage comic.) I'm told Brown still consults with Nacelle after selling. And these FIGURES were designed and sculpted by two laid off former Super7 Ultimates people who did TMNT and Toxic Crusaders. So it's TMNT folks all around.

I can’t believe people still make ‘your mom’s basement’ comments in 2024. It’s over, dude. The nerds won. When every single normie was watching dragons in game of thrones and cheering for captain America holding Mjolnir, it was officially done! I think most everyone here can agree that the Rewind is a highlight of our weeks. Just like hanging with a good buddy and looking at super cool stuff- it’s a gift. The main thing to realize is people who leave comments like that ultimately hate themselves more than the the target of their meanness. They’re sad, broken people and I hope they can get the help and love they need.❤

Wild West C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa was definitely a thing! I use to watch the show, read the comics, and had a ton of the toys! On days when my parents couldn’t find a babysitter for me, my mom would take me to work with her, and I would always bring the toys with me, and pour them out on a desk at the back of my mom’s classroom. I would then have to educate her middle school students on who each character was and what the show was! Now SilverHawks on the other hand, I completely agree; it never existed! That one is totally made up!

On the sharing of sculpts with McFarlane, he has to have a clause that allows him to share across the lines. The Original Spawn from the new 2 pack is nearly complete reuse of the Martian Manhunter body

I agree on the Mezco Turtles, unless their figure has light up features, it shouldn't reach a $100, so $400 for 4 non-light up figs, nope! Rather save that money for the next GI Joe Haslab, which I hear will be another aerial vehicle, The Night Raven or Cobra Rattler!

I think Hasbro did the parts swapping between lines with the Adventure Series Walter Donovan having Imperial legs. Kenner definitely did it back in the day with the entire Robin Hood Prince of Thieves line being reuse of Super Friends and Star Wars figure parts with more or less just new heads.
