I graduated from an ADN (Associate in Nursing) program at my State College & the program was a total of 2 years. However, it did take 2 years to complete undergrad work to get into the program so in total 4 years. I am currently taking my BSN (Bachelor) classes at the same State College. I plan to continue on my nursing journey until I reach my Doctorate degree!

The comment of the putting on light perfume for work took me out 😢😅. I remember one time I worked at the hospital,a patient after getting her vitals complained to the next nurse about my perfume as I'm on the other side of the curtain about to cry because my mom literally had just gifted me that perfume and i was new. 😩😭😭😭

Hey Dom! When going from day shift to nights how do you make yourself go to sleep during the day? Open to advice, thanks

hey girly &, of course here’s what I noticed: 1. My manager is pretty generous when it comes to scheduling-if I work a row of nights she’ll take you off the schedule for a few days(I use this as time to reset my sleep schedule) 2. When I come home from a night shift I go straight to sleep & wake up at 1pm/2pm-I don’t sleep the whole day this way I’m able to sleep again around 11pm. I also try and get a work out in, this makes me even more tired and ready for bed. But either half or NO preworkout-like a Celsius because it’ll stay in your system longer than you think lol. 3. I go straight to bed when I come home, no phone or tv. I noticed reading helps me fall asleep vs watching a show because with TV, I want to keep pressing “next episode” lol The main thing is either staying awake or going to bed and waking up early in the afternoon to reset your sleep cycle! If all else fails & I noticed I’m not sleeping for some reason, I take a melatonin pill lol.
