Love the idea of landscape vs portrait for the new journal! A brilliant idea. The boys sunning themselves in their chairs are so cute. Such good boys. As for the money, I had a 20 pound note with the Queen on it, and it was refused at the airport in Glasgow! I was told I could spend it by someone, but when it came down to it, I couldn’t use it. That person told me to take it to the bank, but I will probably just hang onto it as a keepsake. Looks like you all had a nice Father’s Day too. Glad to see you all well and happy! Mike, you can remove the covers from the spine and switch them around. It's not a quick job, but it can be done. Of course, making another cover can be fun as well. Love the 50's look.

I"m sorry Mr. Bentley has a tooth ache... I've never heard of a poochie tooth-ache before - Glad to hear it got attended to quickly. We have our poochie's teeth cleaned annually, until they are too old to tolerate the anesthesia, of course. My Ms. Austin will be 15 in Sept. and Ms. Sandie turned 13 this past April. Good on you Ian for doing the Ladies of Science papers. They are sadly so often missing from the record and often in their time were not given credit for what they did. That mock orange hedge would do me in. I am allergic to smelly stuff of all sorts. I would not be able to walk along that road until the flowers were gone. Doing two covers is a good fun idea. Mike, that back cover is indeed for your own fun and enjoyment. It's fine. The Atomic paper pad is quite nice. Ian, I think someone did suggest to Tim Holtz that he create something as a nod to a lady of science (not ladies, just one). It's a very, very fine paper pad. One of the ladies looks a bit like Helena Bohnam Carter.

That's the first I've seen the money with Charles on it. It's weird, most of us have only ever known the Queen. Funny how it seemed like she would last forever. Hope Mr Bentley isn't suffering too much with his tooth, poor baby and all will be well again tomorrow when he goes to get it fixed 😊

Love the journal cover. Do you know the work and films of Wes Anderson, an American film maker - 'Asteroid City' being one of them? Very 1950's style. The Barbie movie is also a bit similar. Hope Mr B's tooth gets better. Love the Women of Science Ian!

Love your new paper pads. Would love to support you & and Ian, but wish our exchange rate to the £ wasn't 23:1... South African money is mickey Mouse Money nowadays (was 2:1 back in the day)! Plus, our postal service has collapsed - only couriers are reliable, so buying from overseas becomes prohibitively expensive. Sadly. But if truth be told, I have enough printed paper pads to last me til I die. LOL 😂😂😂😂
