Hi everyone :) In today's weekly vlogmas video, we're flying to JERSEY!! (Not New Jersey.. I wish). For my master's program at university, we had to go on a school trip to the Durrell Zoo to learn about conservation projects and management. I got to see all the lil zoo animals, go to charity shops, explore the island, eat good food, listen to Nicki Minaj's new album pink friday 2 (WHICH IS AMAZINGGG), and generally just chat about daily life :) Oh.. and also a lot of Carl the chameleon of course

I highly dislike zoos now. I think unless its for rehabilitation or can be as close to the natural habit and open room for them to be animals it should be illegal. Its sooooo sad.

Yup a lot of zoos suck and shouldn’t be open! The one we went to in the vlog though is a good one because they’ve saved many critically endangered species from extinction (which is why we went there to learn how they do it). They take in wild animals to breed them and rerelease back into the wild, or keep as a reserve in case their wild populations plummet. It’s not always an ideal situation but it’s helped a lot in conservation!

Sorry was that a hotel or a hostel. It was very basic and believe me, that is not a normal shower for the U.K. so old fashioned and never seen one with that kind of control. 😂😂 Love your videos. 🥰🥰
