SPOILERS: The twist of Vulture being Liz's dad left me shocked. At first I thought he'd found out who Peter was and he'd kidnapped Liz, but then he was like "I'm Liz's dad." That twist was awesome.

In Tony's defence the instant kill mode was deactivated, Peter messed around with the suit to have it available...so Tony is irresponsible to give a kid a suit with instant kill mode, but he's not THAT irresponsible to have it available!

I've seen a few reviews and commentaries on homecoming, and one thing no one's really mentioned is how the movie shows how him being Spiderman negatively effects his personal life. even the other spiderman movies and the rest of the mcu don't address this, the characters just run off and do their thing and no one wonders where they are. a big part of this is the fact that most other superhero movies have been about people who aren't watched as closely as peter is because he's a teenager, and a student, and he's in a club. someone's usually expecting him somewhere at almost all times so when he makes a move or ditches something, there are consequences for that. and because of these consequences he's shown to regret abandoning his friends to be Spiderman but he knows what he has to do and that's something we haven't seen much in other superhero movies and that's a big part of what makes the movie so good

During the movie vulture tell Peter that he saved his daughters life so he's not going to shoot him this saving his life, but at the end of the movie Peter saves the vulture from burning to death so now the vulture owes Peter again. So at the end of the movie when the scorpion ask if the vulture knows peters identity he tells him no. So now the vulture saves peters life and now they are even.

I think this is absolutely the best of all the Spider-Man movies. My favorite thing about it is how it weaves Vulture into Peter's arc; I can't think of a single other superhero film in existence that has the hero adopting some of the villains philosophy by the end and the story treating it as a good thing.

the Nicholas Hammond Spider-Man movie where the college kids build a bomb is called Spider-Man Strikes Back (it's also known as Deadly Dust in the US). I used to watch it all the time as a kid. It's one of my guilty pleasures.

Spider sense is implied in civil war. When the sign is flying towards him in the hanger and his eyes widen and he dodges it and he talks about "senses dialled to 11" to Tony.

I just saw this yesterday that's why I'm listening and commenting late but you can tell he has spider sense because in Civil War when he was fighting Falcon and Bucky, they were on either side of him(front and back) and he was on a post facing one guy and the guy behind him throws a giant panel at him and he yells out "Oh crap!" and dodges it without turning around, then catches it with his web and throws it back saying something like "You dropped this." I saw Civil War in the morning and Homecoming in the evening so it's all fresh for me, that's why I remember. Plus I was watching Civil War on Netflix so I kept rewinding the exciting bits.

57:00ish, in Pepper being back is sort of alluded to in Civil War. Cap asks Tony where Pepper is, after he brings up all the shit they had to deal with and the fact that he really didn't want to stop Tony says "but I'm hoping the Sacovia Accords will split the difference." Meaning that's how he was going to try to get Pepper back. Apparently it worked.

SPOILERS: I can't wait till we see Spider-Man again in Infinity War because I want to see how he explains the suit to Aunt May. Thing is he can't really play it off as "It's just a Halloween costume." Or somehow because she says "I know you weren't at the Washington monument. I know you skipped detention. And I know you keep sneaking out at night." Like any smart person would know he's lying if they know all that.

The Kill Mode on the suit was only part of the suit once they hacked it past the Training Wheels Protocol. Stark put it in their for when Peter would prove to be responsible enough to handle all these extra features.

I drew a lot of similarities between Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming, although Spider-Man 2 is still my favorite Spider-Man: Homecoming is probably my 2nd favorite. Spider-Man 2 was about Spider-Man holding back Peter Parker and Homecoming was about Peter Parker holding Spider-Man back but with them both ending by allowing both sides of the character to coexist. My only nitpick problem with Homecoming was when Peter was trapped underneath all the rubble and he was looking at his half reflection with the mask, I didn’t feel it necessary for iron mans quote to be said again. It felt a bit cliche and it would’ve been more impactful if he got out of there without needing any motivation from Iron Man. But overall 9.9/10

I loved Homecoming. I think it's the best Spider-Man movie yet (yes, better than Spider-Man 2) I also think Tom Holland is the best Peter/Spider-Man we've ever seen. I don't know where I'd rank the movie in the MCU, but for me personally it's my favourite Spiderman movie, and my favourite MCU movie.

Best Spiderman movie by far imo!!!Best Peter parker,best setting,REAL KIDS,Best VILLIAN (a sympathetic/understable one at that) in any marvel movie (fox and sony included) real stakes,the learning curve is there (always a thing in any iteration) and lots of humor😂the "chase" scene was funny AF and zendaya flipping him off😂and many more,no cringey humor as far as i saw...Btw spidersense wasn't a thing until some issues in,he didn't have it in the Homecoming flick BUT it's confirmed in the D23 Avengers Infinity war teaser (only viewed by attending audiences).In the teaser, we see Peter riding in a bus when suddenly the hairs on his arm stand up!!SPIDERSENSE!!So his powers will keep progressing...hope we get some Man-Spider transformation illusion of some sort..maybe in Spiderman:Internship (homecoming 2,just created this name myself,it sucks i know😅)

But the Avengers couldn't have happened in 09 because in Civil War, General Ross reveals the Avengers have only been together for *four years*, while Vision brings up it's been *eight years* since Tony Stark revealed he was Iron Man, and the majority of Homecoming takes place only *two months* after the events of Civil War.

Think it works on its own, I never questioned the xmen or iron man turning up in the 90's Spider-Man cartoon, I doubt you'd question Iron Man in this, especially seeing as being a human who exists.. it's evident to almost anyone who Iron Man is.. it's hard to miss
