You could add a little strap onto the tea cozy and have it be a bucket purse! Imagine two lengths of fabric that tie into a bow at the shoulder! To die for! Or add a zipper and it be a travel toiletries bag ... Or both. Always love your videos:)

I'm a beginner sewer as well. One thing that I only learnt in full recently is that you have to use different sized needles for different projects, and this is crucial for the outcome of the garment. We have to use a different needle for denim and leather was well as a stronger thread so it doesn't snap. And I've found that pants are really difficult to get the fit right because their shape is not straightforward. There are a lot of measurements to take into account on your own body, and then you have to figure out how to translate them into the actual garment. So you're not alone in your frustration! I find @SeamworkVideo a really good place for sewing help as well as Seamwork's podcast which is so good for both sewing and fashion tips.

My family uses the gingham thing you got as a tortilla warmer if you're ever having something like that, you put them inside and it keeps them warm!

For the jeans: don’t take the fact that you didn’t “flip” them as you wished as a defeat, sewing is hard and things don’t always turn out as we wanted them to but it’s okay! You’ll get there eventually

The tattoo is so gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the whole experience so honestly too, I’m thinking of getting a bigger tattoo and it’s a good reminder it’s better to be prepared for pain!

Thank you! It’s definitely worth the pain but also just good to be prepared! I think it’s actually good to be a little bit nervous so the body can create some adrenaline which will make the pain more manageable :)
