Weezer recording history notes:
an excellent quality bootleg, both in audio and video formats, because the show was broadcast live to German radio, and later that night there was also a video re-broadcast on German TV. The TV and Radio stations were one and the same, "Westdeutscher Rundfunk", in short "WDR", a regional station that nonetheless reaches millions of people. WDR is owned by the state, so the quality was superb, on radio and on tv.

DVD source upscaled and deinterlaced to 1440p50fps with QTGMC
HD source already 50fps, I "upscaled" to 1440p
Audio from an alternate TV broadcast source (start 00:35)
Might be the best version of this show on YT for now.

I was obsessed with Weezer back then and I honestly still will listen to the blue album and pinkerton now when the spirit moves me. I was in middle school or just starting highschool around this time - good memories. I'm hoping my kid picks up some love for older music the way I did for my parents' music. Beauty to be heard across the ages and genres ❤

these are my presumed lyrics for the spoken parts in undone in this version (notes: only what rivers says, and this is probably boutta be REALLY wrong and make no sense at all, but here we go) 1ST SPOKEN SECTION (1:41): with the l the e the n the h the o and the c the c at grandpa lurry's that make the meat swing and i gotcha it's a hip hop but i don't like goth girls and if you try to upset the box (/oxygen?) get tipped and it's just like a shock make the beats that make the brakes make ya shake ice cube never caught in the fiddle i may try to kick you 2ND SPOKEN SECTION (2:33): oh no i'm jinxed in the hole with the rock-a-blast tie it's radio hindsight with the next beer sitting at my foot and i gotta ???

Thank you so much. I've been looking for a high quality video of this show for a long time, but all I found was a bootleg DVD with terrible compression. Also, thank you for deinterlacing correctly!

All i remember from watching the bad quality version of this live is 2 days before seeing weezer live, i had a terrible fever and i couldnt stand. And i just lied down half concious thinking, weezer. And then on the day of the concert i survived 4+ hours of standing waiting for weezer, not counting how long it took to even make it to that moment
