I was on ozempic for 2 years. l lost 60lbs. I had to stop a year and a half ago because the insurance stopped covering it and the manufacturers card stopped covering it . I have pre diabetes pcos . My cholesterol is back up and now my sleep apnea is back. I gained all but 20 lbs back which sucks. I am hoping 🙏 this will work for me .

Hi Candy, I really recommend you listening to Dr. Mike’s podcast with a weight loss specialist. It’s a good listen and I think you could get some valuable information from it! Keep up the hard work and hopefully that will make you not have so many side effects.

On my second week..lost 4 pounds..had cronick diarea first week.i started om 188 my goal is 145..im 50 yrs old.with fibromyalgia had my thyroid removed..osteoarthritis and muscle afrophy..high blood presure and cholesterol

Good fats are good for us but bad oils and fats are not. I am doing Keto and it is working for me for sure.

I’m on the compound as well although my dosages started at .25 first month the second is .5. Your dosages are different. I strength train 3 days a week and hike 4 miles 2 days a week. Doing keto and tracking my macros. My first month was a disappointment having only lost 4 lbs. Hoping it kicks in this month.

Sounds like you should be taping instead of weighing in. I bet your body composition is changing its just harder to see than a number on a scale.

Ur doing good keep at the weight training ! Muscle weighs more than fat and takes up less area. Use a measuring tape! U can track better that way❤

It's actually not, good/safe/healthy, to lose weight quickly. One pound a day is a 'max average.' Some can lose more and they're fine. This is especially since daily weight loss counts vary. It definitely takes time, especially those with 'excessive' weight to lose. It can take time to feel it as well as notice it.

At the time we got it it was $200 a month for injection plus the cost of the virtual nurse visit which I believe was $100-$150. I can’t recall exactly.

Try to eat small snacks throughout the day rather than meals. Or do food prep and do really small portions because you won’t be very hungry.

Take the shot at night, if you didn’t. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. Look into liquid I.V. as it will replace your electrolytes. Others said these helped the side effects stop. Take B12 gummies. They help with the fatigue and digest better. Hope you are feeling better.

KZfaq sends me all these videos of former semaglutide diets....the videos report success, but the KZfaqrs themselves has usually been off it for quite a while and has gained the weight back - so, it is sobering. No criticism, I'm just gauging the effectiveness of this tool.

I think varies per person. I didn’t stay on it because I didn’t like the way it made me feel and losing 6-7 pounds a month wasn’t enough of a loss to tolerate feeling that way some of the days. I didn’t gain it back right away. It was a slow gain of 15 pounds (which was only half of what I lost during the 4 months) over the winter months which has always been a struggle for me when I’m not exercising. So not really a fault of the medication. However I am proud to say that I have since lost that weight and then some with healthy eating habits and exercise this spring and summer so far in 2024. We all have to find what works for ourselves.

Of course if you stop dieting, taking medication, or working out, anything that's helping you lose weight and you stop, you will gain it back. What a silly statement.

I think the idea is that over some time your supposed to attain a new eating lifestyle and you're diet isn't really a diet anymore you just eat healthier now 🤷🏾
