A weighted blanket/wrap is much more safe for behavioral or anxious dogs.

This is not a weight vest. This is a back pack. A weight vest should hug the body and have the weight evenly distributed. You can tell in the model stuffed animal that the backpack forces the contents to shift to one area causing all of the weight to be on that one area. The weight you put in a vest should be sand or bb pellets so that it forms to the dog body. Putting anything else in an actual weight vest could cause harm to your dog because those items will apply pressure.

20% seems very much I don't think their spinal cord is made to deal with such a weight. Overweight dogs get trouble with their joints this could be the same with dogs with these weighted vests don't you think? There may be no studies about dogs yet but there are plenty of studies how a person's weight on a horses back damages the horses body and causes pain.

@@am.aim5738_ i understand your concern, but weightpulling is actually safe and a lot of fun for dogs if done properly. You gotta gradually build up the weights, have a fitted harness fitted for YOUR dog and do it on grass.

sometimes your dog has too much energy to be receptive to the training. This would help burn some of that energy.

I don't agree that starting at 10% is okay or remotely safe. Should be 2 or 3%.

These aren't even weighted vests. And I agree about having 20% of weight is just to much. Checkout www.xdogvest.com - This is the perfect weighted vest for dogs with only 10% max additional weight.

This is that I don’t want to do this thing I’ve ever seen it’s very harmful for a dog to put a weighted vest on it because it can break their spine it will not break with them very dangerous

This does not help, to many are looking for quick fixes. Would you put this on a child? A nervous spouse, etc. Seen these use on service dogs, lazy way to train, once it not used, dog does not perform unless a wieghted vest is use. Also seen on dogs to young, why not go for a walk, play ball before training but to busy, use of tools for quick fix...speechless

Its for muscle building, not a quick fix. You see police dogs with them all the time.

I want a vest for muscle and strength training really. Maybe 30 mins a day. Like a workout
