Part 2 of our Weipa Mine and Town Tour, this one focusing on the Bauxite Mining in and around Weipa! We where amazed by the dedication and knowledge our tour guide had! Wasn’t much of an opportunity to get out and get our take on things but we think our tour guide did wonders! We’ve cut these videos to a minimum as to not give away too much of the tour and recommend to anyone and everyone to get to Weipa and check out this tour!!

2 years late to this video..lol. Lived and worked in Weipa from 1976-1990. Town has changed a bit! Really nice seeing the bush up there again, along with a familiar (definately not the best) fishing spot too!

Watched both parts, awesome. Brought back memories I lived and worked in Weipa for a year 2013-14. Absolutely loved the place. Lived at the Alby.

All credit goes to you guys on these vids!! It was an incredible tour and I doubt anyone would have the knowledge, experience and drive to show Weipa in the way you guys did! Thank you and the team behind you for showing us what not many people see and the history behind Weipa and the far north!!
