It's really weird how so many Charismatics embrace Branham as being a real man of God. I am, or was a Charismatic. But even when I heard about him and saw him being lionized on TBN. I knew something was wrong. I just didn't know the depths of it.

@@davidboehmer4359 Also what I noticed. Publicly the Charis don't say anything bad about the other, even when those others practice and teach atrocious stuff. There is exceptions of cause. I recall one evangelist that practiced and thought gifts of the Spirit that he thinks 98% are false and on a wrong trajectory. I get that the focus should be on truth and not all the errors in the world for that would take too long. But at times one needs to be very clear on what is misleading people and essentially also 'vaccinating' them against the Gospel later. The test should be letting them explain the Gospel and also, if they have knowledge FROM the Holy Spirit. Then we can talk.

People join the Masons, etc. Since they don't get 'the light', etc. in their Churches. Essentially they are searching for answers, but with that type of secret organization it won't age well. No Gospel, no Holy Spirit, no 'light' neither although one may get the impression, but it is deception.

My personal opinion is that he believed none of it, including the Bible. One does not purposely lie about spiritual things if one believes the Bible, and if they are clearly fabricated and altered for maximum effect, the so-called spiritual experiences cannot even be believed.

@@jerrysullivan8424 from the look of it I can definitely tell too that they’re very different as messianic Jews are believed to be Jews who converted to Christianity while keeping their Jewish identity (they have a very great understanding of the Old Testament as most converted from Judaism). As a person raised listening to WMB a lot of his teachings were Old Testament based not touching much on the New Testament. after listening to the messianic Jews teachings I can identify alot of the things I was taught from “the message”. ( But obviously excluding stuff cap stone , serpent seed etc )

The presenters in this channel have done a few videos on regressive unscriptural approaches in Message churches to race and interracial marriage, look for episodes related to the "Serpent Seed" doctrine. The big takeaways for me were: many Message churches have both black and white (or other race) representation; black members are taught they are inferior and are created to serve whites in the hereafter (at least in some versions); this teaching may be subtle, and so black members may stay in the church; for the theological particulars watch the episodes; interracial marriage is strictly prohibited; "mixed-race" people are viewed as irredeemable and thus hell-fodder.

first off, these laws do not apply to Christians. second, when the Bible said someone of their "tribe" they meant someone of their culture, not of their race. race as a concept did not exist until the transatlantic slave trade. it's easy to project onto the past the ideas we have now, but people of that time did not have a common identity by skin color and phenotypes the way people do today. back then it was entirely based on what culture and practices you subscribed to. so even according to this scripture, interracial marriage is not forbidden but rather marriage between foreigners (there were races existing among each other even back during this time)

There really is only one race---the human race. There's nothing in the Bible about not marrying people with different color skin. That was a racist doctrine taught by WMB and many other racists.
