Wow, this hen feels safe enough that this exact place is where she feels she can lay her eggs… they may be fertilised, which means she’ll lay one a day here till around 20-30 fertilised 🥚’s.

I have been in a chicken coop picking up the eggs the chicken's lay. That in it self was an adventure as I was only 5 or 6 years old. Watching a hen lay an egg was much more impressive.

The hen definitely feels safe and comfortable around the cat, otherwise she wouldn't be laying eggs with the cat that much nearby! ❤ Poor cat went from all stages of feelings 😂 From curious to terrified to playful and then chill 😁
