4:10 fun fact: During WW2 one of the most common foods eaten was lobster. It was so cheap and there were so many of them that it was one of the only meats not rationed. Later overfishing lead to lobster becomming much more rare and turning into the expensive luxury food we know it as.

4:49 Personally, I prefer summer simply because my mood is much better. Yeah, the winter is "cool" in theory, especially as the temperature is much easier to cope with and snow is nice (a week a year if we're lucky where I am). But in reality, winters are just so gloomy, miserable and dark -- and you can't really do anything nice. My mood definitely drops during the winter months. It's only good for Christmas. Best season is probably spring though -- definitely later spring. Simply because it's nice and bright, and summer can be difficult sometimes because it's the end of semester (which is a blessing because you can just have fun, but also a curse if you're on your final year at a school/college/uni because everything's going to change).

Absolutely true. I love winter, but I hate the short days as I usually go biking in the evening/afternoon. Summer days are nice, but sometimes its just way too hot, especially when im sleeping. Nobody can sleep when they're really warm, its judt uncomfortable.

When Drew showed the image of the sidewalk in suburbs in the US and said it was bad I thought of how sidewalks in suburbs are here in Greece in the Balkans were the sidewalks are all FULL of cracks in them and have random trees and garbage bins blocking the entire sidewalk, so you are forced to walk on the road.

Sidewalks in Indian cities are often encroached upon by temporary shops set up by small businesses. Unless you are shopping, you have walk on the road due to these numerous small shops.

4:05 Firstly, basic meals are the best. Secondly, nobody says the same about curry which is basically the same thing but spicy and with rice instead of potatoes. Thirdly, anyone judging most likely has no idea what the meal even is. We've had a weird history of building our recipes around having fresh food (and long working hours), instead of desperately trying to find hundreds of ways to cover up the taste of our food. We come home from a hard day's work and quickly gobble up a hearty meal we can actually taste the ingredients in before going on to doing other stuff which is more important. Our meals aren't a huge part of our day and history, we've simply always had other stuff to focus on. And I'm proud of that. x
