I am SUPER EXCITED for this one! I hope it is a well done movie. I have been a fan of Weird Al literally since around 1984, when I was only six years old! I had my best friend in grade school show me his music and I was hooked. It went perfectly with the satire craze of every 80’s boy. Mad Magazine. Cracked Magazine. Garbage Pail Kids. And Weird Al! I had nearly every album he had released through the early 90’s on cassette for many years. And UHF was one of my very favorite movies growing up! I was lucky enough to see it the first weekend it came out in theaters as a kid. My dad took me, I begged him! 😂 And the Beverly Hillbilly’s section was in 3D. You got a special pair of paper UHF glasses just for that part. I remember it being one of the first computer generated 3D graphic sections of a film. And that was super expensive (for the relatively small budget this film had), it ate up a huge chunk of the budget to do that if I remember correctly. I realize a Rapper like me is not supposed to be this nerdy or stoked to see a Weird Al film. But I am. I don’t care! “Dare To Be Stupid”? Oh yes I do! Real fans will get that line! 💯💯💯💯🤘🤘🤘🤘🎤🎤🎤🎤💪😎👍

I can tell by your comment that you are having a wonderful trip down nostalgia lane. As a 90's kid myself, I frequent Nostalgia Lane quite often, and I can feel your excitement.😊 U know, I don't know why some people make fun of us from the 80's and 90's for being so nostalgic, and obsessed with those time periods. They are just jealous that they didn't get to experience those magical times, that stuck with us our entire lives.😋 MAN did I love the 90's! I could take a trip right now to nostalgia lane easily.😅 Oh and I love Weird Al btw. I too loved him since I was a young kid. He is such a unique, genuinely talented, hilariously nice, kind hearted person. His music parodies being Epic as hell, was the icing on the cake.😊

It's funny because I watched the Weird Al: Behind the Music doc. He's had a fairly positive and good career. Not really any scandals or massive hurdles. Overall fairly well liked and respected. Nowhere near the drama and pitfalls of other artists featured in these types of bio-flicks and documentaries. The real intrigue comes from his earliest days, finding his place in the industry, and his impact on pop-culture.

Let's not forget that in 2004, both of his parents were found dead in their home from carbon monoxide poisoning. His ability to go on with a show that very same night and a subsequent tour helping him through his depression is surely fodder for some serious drama.
