So excoted to find this post! Alla Nazimova discovered Rudolph Valentinos wife Natacha Rambova and had her design costumes for her, which are in Salome. The book Madame Valentino has a fair amount of information about Alla. Thank you for this post!

Good video, though I feel as if certain lines were repeated too often... Also it left out what I think was an important part of Nazimovas life. She was openly bisexual back in a period in which it was taboo. She openly conducted relationships with women during her marriage and partnership to Charles Bryant, and was even involved with both of the wives of Rudolph Valentino, granted the first wife had her affair with Nazimova before meeting Rudolph, and wife number twos relationship with Nazimova seems like more of a business partnership and friendship.
