Useless Glitches In Pokemon Games! There are a ton of glitches in Pokemon that everyone knows about but what about the less popular ones that are useless? Let's check them out!

Slight correction on the fishing glitch. You CAN catch Magikarp with the Old Rod because its hardcoded to always give you Magikarp regardless of the local encounter table.

I assume the Kalos Day Care sign thing might because they knew players would bike up and down the route and thought it might be annoying every time you passed it? Idk it’s my best guess 😂

I have another half useless glitch! In BW2, normally when walking through grass patches, the character model is partially in the grass. However, there is a single patch of grass in Floccesy Ranch that seemingly doesn't exist, as when you stands in it, the character model is completely over the grass patch, and as far as I can tell, it is impossible to get an encounter from this patch of grass

I never knew there was an animation for the MC spinning on a bike, and I am happy I saw this.

It doesn't required an animation really, it is just the sprite changing directions, so having the bike doesn't change much

I have 2 favourite useless glitches in gen 1- the first is if you surf around a bit on the east coast of Cinnabar, then go back on land and instantly walk across to the gym door, if you don't have the secret key on you, the usual "it's locked.." message will appear, but also, the old man will appear on the roof of the gym. The other one is the Amazing Vanishing Trees- go south of Cerulean onto the route that has the day care, and ride up and down on your bike along the path, making sure the secenery trees are on screen. As you go up and down, the trees will disappear and reappear

I think of the Cinnabar gym roof glitch as Missingno projecting a psychic image to suggestively prompt a visit to the Old Man in Viridian, such that Missingno may then appear in true form on the Cinnabar coastline and bless us with the duplicated items we seek

The last glitch about fishing in statues. There is one gym where you can actually find Pokemon in the Statue. Cerulean.

another similar walk through/into a wall bug happens in the Goldenrod tunnel in Heartgold and Soulsilver. Just outside the warehouse, right across from the door, you can walk into the wall at the bottom of your screen and walk about two steps. Not useful for any means, but I found this bug back in 2014 and am surprised no one seems to mention it.

3:49 You can also do this glitch in the Abandoned Ship. I think it's a youngster that will walk through a wall. Also, a "Gentlemen" will walk through a fence on route 121. They were both patched in Emerald.

You forgot the best glitch, or I guess oversight, like with the Broly tiles. In Celedon City in Gen 1 there is a Hotel, it has nothing of note in it. However it still has a PC like a Pokemon Center. If you goto the far corner of the room like you would in a pokemon center and stand in front of the empty tile where the pc would be normally you can access it in the hotel. This has no practical use, but is an interesting oversight by the devs who must have used already completed Pokemon Center data for the hotel and forgot to remove the script for the PC from the tile.

3:49 I could imagine a Pokémon trainer climbing over a ledge just to get to you. I think I have fished in statues before. I thought they did have Pokémon in them.

(don't know if this counts as a glitch but) Skateboarder Lon & St. Performer Diogo in Pokemon Colosseum got their dialogue switched by mistake (Lon says "well, that's my show" when you beat him, and also calls your character "little boy" at the end of his intro rhyme even tho he's younger than your character haha)

Did you know that if you have a Pokemon that knows mimic and a smeargel that knows its sketch in a dubble battle you can make the Pokemon that knows mimic use sketch to permanently learn illegal moves?

They didnt fix the wall glitch in emerald, the data just git shuffled around and ended up in the gym as a result.

(7:45) Actually, using the Old Rod, you can pull Magikarp out of those statues. I guess the game is coded to always produce Magikarp 100% of the time with the Old Rod. Edit: pokedude900 already said this. I should've scrolled down to read a few comments before posting my own first. Whoops.

could really use some advice. I have a 3ds xl and I have omega ruby on my ds. For a while I was using power-saves to get items and everything for the game. However just last night when I was trying to get ampharos and attached my cartridge into my 3ds it says it got corrupted. Now every time I place my cartridge in the slot remains empty 😢😢😢 I’m nervous what should I do? Even my powersaves is telling me that my game which I always plugged my game to says it’s unsupported. Any advice anything will help I just want to return it to Normal. Is there anything way to fix this?! 😨😨😨😨😰😰😰😰

For the Ruby/Sapphire Ledge walking trainer, I first discovered this by accident once when I went to run over the ledge and she saw me on top of the ledge, walked onto the ledge and underneath me. Once I won the battle I was still ontop of her and the ledge

My favorite glitch from Red/Blue that I abused the hell out of allowed me to always easily catch those hard-to-catch Safari Zone Pokemon. Run around in the area of the Safari Zone that has the Pokemon you're searching for and let the time run out. Then head south of Fuchsia and surf to the Seafoam Islands while avoiding any trainers. When you get to the Islands, surf up and down on the vertical shoreline that you come to and for whatever reason, all the Pokemon from that specific Safari Zone area you were in will appear on this shoreline so you can battle and catch them like you could with regular Pokemon.

Ive brought this up so mamy times in every glitch video i see. You have to use wtw cheats to do it but there is a x speed you can pick up in mauville city infinitely if you pick it up from the bottom

@@epicbrucey no.. they’re not. They’re just bugs. You don’t need to glitch out the game to get any of this stuff to happen. They’re just developer oversights.
