Love it education every time I bred and got eggs first ball python clutch ever unfortunately did not make it but I succeeded in getting eggs. All because of you guys Brian Barczyk and many others to get me where I am today 🙏

Because some will die from being tangled up. Like a baby having the embilicolcord, around their neck. They mention it in the video that some have a knot in the cord...

I always wonder what do you do with all these huge snakes? A reticulated python is not for a majority of people so do you just sell these to anyone and everyone who wants one?

@@coolDom95 I wouldn't assume he does have 5.8 million followers so there is tons of people that would love to get a snake from him and he owns a reptile zoo so he sees people every single day that love reptiles I'm just wondering if he sells them to people letting them know how big these snakes are going to get or if the people just don't know and they buy the snake thinking it's going to stay small

There are various ways. One way is by having a monopoly on a certain gene. If you're the first to import a "different looking" snake from the wild, you get to name that genetic variation, then you grow it to adulthood, and breed it, then there's no way for anyone to own anything like the babies you produced. This process takes years. Genetics is complex and very interesting. They also breed offspring back to parents sometimes in order to see what it produces. This process is how we have all of the variation in color and pattern with every captive bred reptile in the pet trade. Probability also effects how many times it takes to breed certain animals together to get an intended goal of genetic combinations.
