Weistec Engineering W.3 Turbo Upgrades

The factory turbocharges are disassembled and fully inspected. The compressor cover and center cartridge are then machined to accept our 5-axis CNC machined impeller wheels. Externally, no changes are made to maintain a completely stock appearance. The new impeller wheel supports greater power levels than the factory unit with little to no sacrifice in spool and response. The turbochargers are then reassembled with new seals and fully balanced for smooth operation and OEM service life. All the original oil and coolant lines bolt right up making for a simple install.

Different level of engineering and equipment. Would love to upgrade my 177ls2 , at stage 2 now with downpipes, Was told that stock fuel system was somewhat limited , so I need to upgrade fuel pumps ? Or what level is expected with stock of stock is recommended, thanks

Whats the level of "psi" of this turbo ? If it depends on the vehicle, questioning for the E400 2015.

For the m850i, with 200cell downpipes and axle back pipes, will a custom tune be needed or can these be plug and play? Do all existing plumbing connect?

To get the full potential of the turbos, a custom tune is required. And yes, all existing plumbing still works.

@WeistecTV ok not necessary but to maximize power a tune is needed. Could you post videos of these turbos installed on a 850 or 550- exhaust note and such?

I’m trying to understand why you guys think this is worth $7,000? I can buy M5 stock turbos which are bigger than the m550i turbos for less… I’m truly lost as to why would anyone ever consider this

@@WeistecTV How much power with WMI, tcu tune, down pipes, and ecu tune to the crank vs wheel? Also, are there any mods to strengthen the 43 engine?

@@blackfoxmp5 The M276 can do up to 500+ wheels. But torque should stay under 600 wheel to avoid bending rods.

@@johna374 in order to get the full benefit of the turbo upgrade, it usually requires a few more supporting upgrades. With no downpipes and methanol injection, you'd miss out on roughly +80hp or more. If you're looking to gain some extra power without adding too many supporting upgrades. Our W.1 ECU tune on the GTC model gains roughly 50-60 HP on top of factory numbers. Paired with our Transmission tune, it changes the performance of the vehicle drastically!!
