Do you think there was anything that your parents could’ve done to support you more or be more in tune with that need? I’m considering a larger family so any advice from someone who grew up in one is great ☺️

@@Theprincessinyellow you need to have enough money to let each child pursue hobbies and teams. Being too poor to attend games & proms and to dress like classmates is very difficult for children. Also encourage their dreams & passions. If one child is better at something, let them excel. Don't tell a child they can't be double-promoted at school because it might hurt their older sibling's feelings. Use more praise & less demanding everyone to be quiet just because you're frustrated. Harshness from parents leave scars. Encourage individuality. Let each child be special. If there are two artists, let it be. Don't limit your family to one artist, one reader, one math whiz, etc. Try to provide new clothing all their own. Some hand-me-downs make sense but a child needs something that has only been theirs. Don't compare children. Try not to yell. It is scary when the adult is yelling & you weren't one of those being chaotic. I could probably write a book. I try very hard not to be negative about my parents. But I would never have chosen to be in such a large family. Sime children are more sensitive than others. But let God guide your decisions. That’s all very helpful, and I understand what you mean by not trying to resent your parents, have Grace with yourself for how you have felt because you ARE important! It’s one thing to hear from the parents’ perspective about being able to manage having a lot of children but I think it’s even more important to learn from those who grew up in the environment that we can overlook far too often

The more children a woman has tge younger she looks and the age she starts having children will also matter. Having them young helps too

Mom to newly 8 here and exactly the same here. Children love babies if they get a turn to cuddle to!

That's awesome! My Mom is #8 out of 10. We are on 3rd cousins, now reaching child bearing ages, we have all but three family members living in the same area. Simply magical! We have to rent a Pavillion for Summer gatherings, there are hundreds of us😂

@@dmess3735 I have 4. They are in charge of paying for their education. I will reimburse by giving them money for their monthly payment (i will cover 1/2) after they graduate. For example... my loan total was 12,000. I paid cash when I could and used loans when I had to. I also lived at home and went to a community college and then state. So I pay 200.00/month for my loan. My parents gave me 100. It was great because the loan isn't heavy, it made me take my education seriously and graduate on time. Also the payment isn't too much for anyone. So perhaps they will do something like that.

Her husband definitely is still attracted to her I'm guessing because she keeps her self up definitely looks like a challenge

The more you have the easier it gets ;) My experience was that only having 1 was more work than having 5 because you are the sole entertainment for that one child, with more kids they look out for each other and entertain each other a lot.

Grace Pringle I sure hope so! My husband wants a big family. But I do see your point, it’s exhausting being the entertainer all day long, especially as I am a sahm. There’s only so much we can do especially in the colder weather. I do love the positive to the kids entertaining each other lol looking forward to that ☺️😁

I have six and we're thinking about a seventh. Having two, once they get to an age where they can play together, is far easier than having one. It's hard to just say I want a big family, period. Some families are better off with just two kids. My kids enjoy being siblings and get along well, but if they didn't, I never would have had as many kids as I did. And I was a teacher for many years, so I had a lot of practice with being in charge of a large group of kids. You'll know how big to grow your family as time goes on. But for now, your two will be great!! 😊😊😊

@Alexandra Hall We sent the early ultrasound to the gender experts and they said boy. We're pretty sure it's a boy, we've got 8 boys and 4 girls right now, likelihood of another boy is pretty high lol.
