Todays video is a little different to the vlogs I have been putting out.
This video is more of an information video about a little town called Alvor.
Alvor is a seaside resort and fishing village in the Algarve. It has been around for centuries and it is definitely worth the stop.
I took the bus (via e vem) from Portimão which cost me around €3 (this depends where you leave from)
There are loads of things to do in this little town and its a huge tourist spot. There are restaurants for whatever you are craving from Japanese to traditional cuisine and everything in-between. If you are a seafood lover this place is perfect because it is a fishing town so everything is fresh off the docks.
They also have a huge selection of puds that are cute and fun for you to catch a quick drink or you could stay longer for some live music and a little dancing.
If you like to see nature and "hike" there is one there that is about 30min one way to a beautiful look out that overlooks the ocean. the scenery is so lovely and definitely worth the walk.
The city is beautiful and all of old tradition Portuguese buildings. It is really enjoyable to take a stroll on the cobble stone roads and have a look around.
I would recommend taking the trip down.
