In the United States, we have Democrats. Britain is demonstrably the least racist country in the world.

Here in England, we never had slaves. Perhaps a few house slaves in the homes of the aristocracy, but it was my white ancestors who grafted on the farms, and in the dark, Satanic mills and down the coal mines. There were very few black people here until the 1950s and 1960s, and those I grew up with tended to be individuals who were friends of my parents, kids at my school, or were in the congregation of our local church. The terrible racist attitude of the English was shown during the war in a little town called Bamber Bridge. The American military authorities were horrified to find that black soldiers were drinking in one of the local pubs. They demanded that the landlord stopped this and inisted that segregation was required, just as it was back in America. The landlord promptly banned white US soldiers from his hostelry. Not at all what they expected. There followed the Battle of Bamber Bridge when the US deployed their military police to resolve the matter once and for all. PS We no longer possess any colonies, whilst you now appear to have 50. And we've had three female Prime Ministers and there was a Queen as our head of state for much of the 20th century. How's it going for you?
