I used a disc mower header on a harvesters and a krone trailer , worked fine but a very narrow cut width.

Chris and Rileys headers only do base game crops and forage harvesters have mower heads.

You might try a Tedder on the alfalfa crop, or the conditioner header from the swather pack. Alma has 2 types of alfalfa (grass and hay) deadwood has one type and I see a lot of alternatives from straw to mowing on this map, like is a strategy map. Also yes the colossus header does not have the alfalfa crop type icon in the store

The alfalfa is setup to be grass, thats how Antler22 has it setup and i wont change another modders work i use, Clover is setup the same way, again the way the modder has it setup. It saves of file size and works better. When the update gets released alot will be changed. Like alfafla will come out dry grass for hay. I dont like perfect. my stuff has and always will be rough around the edges because not everyone wants a map covered in useless details or not able to buy the entire map. I listen to what my supporters want and deliver what i can to them, My work is not for everyone.

Thanks for that clarification, my series on this map is not meant to be negative and is a reflection of how I like to play on a map. I understand there will be many changes and I look forward to seeing them. Yes not every mod or map is to everyone’s liking as I have also said many times 😉 Thank you for your many hours of work and effort to bring us this map and for your efforts to make changes you feel that makes the map better 🙏

I didn’t mean any disrespect either, I downloaded this map the day it came out, my son (10 yrs) has a save of this map and really likes the quarry and crusher, also the long straight fields for his “workers”. I was just making a suggestion because I used to live where my grandfather grew and bailed alfalfa. He had to Ted/dry it because if bailed with moisture, they will internally combust and start to burn. Must be bailed dry and stored dry. Once again love the map and all the added vehicles and production items. Well done and made for console @poorboysplace

I’m not a modded or even close to experienced person when it comes to how making a map or custom crop. But I really like the fact on deadwood, corn straw ferments to tmr. I wouldn’t have known that until my Looneyfarmguy did a let’s play and used the quick bale. It wrapped and turned to TMR. Great outcome, my son wanted cows but did not want to hassle with TMR production. I think this should be a standard for all corn haha, but with a price maybe. Like I said I’m not a modder, but maybe a 20% yield loss for straw enable so that it’s like it’s getting leafy in the ground for the TMR outcome. If that makes sense. Just a thought, I wish my current map save had this feature. I’ve invested lots and lots of hours in my current save
