10 ай бұрынWe had the chance to do an overnight trip with Nick from Cay Sal Boatworks on his 39' cat. We got into some absolute dinosaurs and lost a bunch of others. The best bite we had was at night on the American Red Snapper. We trolled for pelagics and did some bottom digging for gag groupers and they hurt us BAD! All in all a great trip and a lot of fun with great company! Thanks to Nick from Cay Sal Boatworks for taking us on this trip!

Where is the elbow in relation to the middle grounds? My coworker has a 27 foot dual engine boat we take out to the middle grounds fairly consistently. There are 20 foot ledges out there! And the current rips around those ledges

Trolling speed, please? I've never had any success trolling those lures, but then again, I'm never more than 20 miles offshore Tampa Bay.

Very cool my son and I want to do an overnight trip. Maybe not 85 miles off shore. Do you keep somebody on watch when you sleep. I think i wouldn't get much sleep worrying about the boat or other boats.

We went to sleep about 1am. Yeah in the back of my mind I was a little worried but got over it

Hubbards got a 3 day offshore to the same areas,includes food,meals , bunk and fresh water showers, as long as you don't mind sleeping with other smelly anglers it's a good trip. I caught my largest red snappper on one of those trips..31.5 " and 16lbs.

Yes. The business part will be handled by our guy Rich (Jiggy) but the videos will still be done by me.
